Protecting the Castle of Gods was not an easy task especially for a newcomer like Billmade. Even the slightest of mistakes could instigate the wrath of the Gods and that meant nothing but death. Billmade was given the job of guarding the personal quarters of Goddess Rabellu, the only daughter of the Prime God. This made it even more difficult for him.
Rabellu was a very charming girl and Billmade knew that she had the liking for him. He did too but would not dare put his feelings out. His father was a farmer and all Billmade wanted to do was make his father proud by being one of the best knights ever and this was a definite start. Guarding the Goddess would never go unnoticed.
It was almost dusk and it was time for the Goddess to return from her daily activities back to her quarters. This was the time of the day Billmade looked forward to. He would watch the Goddess pass by him and he could ony think - Is there anyone who would be more beautiful?
As expect the Goddess showed up with her friends who parted with her at the entrance of the hallway that led to her door. She walked slowly eyeing Billmade all along. This made him feel very uncomfortable. She slowly walked upto him and said "Why do you hide you feelings?" Billmade knew exactly what she was talking about but he refrained from talking. Talking to a Goddess by looking in the eye was a sin.
Seeing him not answer only got irritation to Rabellu. She sighed and said "Come inside." Billmade did not budge. He knew what she was asking for. He stayed calm and said "I cannot my lady. I am restricted to the hallway and I cannot disobey the Prime God." Rabellu's irritation changed into anger now. "I said come inside" said Rabellu and put her finger tip on his forehead and the magic was done. Billmade knew some magic was done on him. He did not want to go inside but he could not resist now. He just followed her and everything that happened after that was not in his hands. He slept with a Goddess.
Next morning when he opened his eyes, he was surrounded by a group of Royal Knights with their swords pointed at him and in the other corner of the room was the Goddess blocked up the Royal Knights. Billmade could feel the chill in the air and instantly knew what was happening. He looked at the door and fear filled his heart. The Prime God himself was making his way towards him with his sword brandished and anger in his face. Without even saying a single word, the Prime God lifted the sword to strike down Billmade but he did not. Rabellu shouted at the same time. Billmade thought it was that which made the Prime God stop but he then realized it wasnt. After a few seconds of trance, the Prime God looked at his General who was right behind him.
"I had a vision about a sword with powers even the God's cannot possess. And this wretched creature is the one wielding it." he said pointing at Billmade. Billmade had no idea what was happening. The Prime God said "Take him away and lock him up and torture his soul but make it live. For eternity." Billmade didnt know what was happening. He was not able to digest the fact that he made it out alive. Probably locked for the rest of his life, but alive. The Royal Guards picked him up and dragged him away. He could initially hear Rabellu screaming but then they died out.
Back in the quarters of Rabellu, the Prime God continued. "I saw him wield a sword that had the power to bring down the Gods. I saw a Rebellion. I saw a blacksmith. I saw the sword. It's been made. General, go to the rebel lands and exterminate every blacksmith you see and bring me the sword. NOW!" Without hesitating a second, the General left.
The Prime God looked at his daughter and said "You are a disgrace to the Gods. As of this second, I curse you to hate every man alive." Rabellu fell down onto her knees.
