For a few moments put aside your emotional gamer hat off and look at this as a passionate game master.

1. The server does not have any vulnerabilities currently. The weak link is the amount of trust players are generous with when meeting complete strangers online. We have it posted all over the website, client and the game. Still the same happens.

2. One player hacks three accounts and only those 3 again and again. Whether you know it or not the A3 family has grown to thousands now. Please take another look and tell me if you still think there is mad hacker reigning havoc all over the server. Its just one unfaithful friend of 3 players showing off.

3. This is a not a game built for item generation. Hence we cannot generate items as and when there is a item hack especially when the hack is purely due to carelessness. Also if we do that then just imagine the scope for scamming false claims in the name of item hacks which will result more stringent methods of identifying claims.

4. Please understand that we have rolled out this whole retrieval option only for player's cause. The system we follow is unique and is entirely based on empathy for the player.

5. Your character was not hacked. Have you ever wondered why. under 4 % of the A3 community is having these hack issues. These are also repetetive and we have clear data to show that it is purely because of item/account sharing. We need to take a strong hand of starts to make this minority understand the risk they are taking and get them out of this bad habit.

Hey GM First,

Some guy asked me for my A3 password some days back on orkut. Needless to say, i did not give him that ...
He asked me everything that he could use to scam support people at A3.
My d.o.b
character name
char lvl
where do i hunt
secret answer to my id (how blunt can u get )
A3 pins that i have used for 'my' id only

He even went on to give me his id n pwd ... i did not login with his ID, who knows that might be another hacked account!! I just said that the pwd does not work!!! ... he kept telling me to login ... i finally put his orkut id on ignore list!

Now u tell me, if i find such people ... what should i do? Anything that can make things better for A3 players!

First of all its heartwarming to see the new generation of A3 players are more alert and aware of scammers.

If such a character exists within our forum or game we can ban his/her account. Since this is an orkut account you can try one of the following.

1. Report it to the community moderator. The moderator has all the powers. If he leaves his community unmoderated then it becomes a playground for such petty scammers.

2. You can also report it to the orkut support team itself. I am not sure about the extent of action taken by them. But by the book all these community sites are to take any kind of harassment/Scamming seriously.

The Golden rule for fighting scammers is always "Ignore".
