How to make Wz: Merc Auto hunt

Well.. here is how u do it.. i used to get good wz everyda doing that.
No this is not illegal.. its just the game features u use

What u need:

*U need a good system with graphics card and 1 gb ram to effectively use
ur merc for auto hunting.
*The trick is not to use 1 char, but 2 chars for auto hunting.
*Better if both are mage merc, Kill is fast with mage and u dont need arrowz like archer mec.

Why:
* For Merc lvlup and drops(or Wz)

Warning:
* U can die , If u lag or ur merc run out of arrowz or if there is 2 much
mob.
*Put RC option to off, u dont want rc pked when ur away.
*Carry SS if necessary, so that u dont loose 50mill worth item trying to
earn 5 mill.

How:
*Place 2 chars in party, and place them on a map with atleast 1 mage
merc preferable.
*Set both merc to attak closest.
*Prefereble maps are, c1, c2 and r1. Reason: People dont come to these
maps, no1 hunts there.. those are the least populated maps with good
drops.
*Make sure ur invent is empty appart from TP scroll (and SS if required).
*Know about the monster ur going to hunt and have appropriate boxes.
*Say if ur going to hunt kastol (c1), make sure u got kardite ,stone,ner M,ner S boxes.
*I used to get min of 5 mill, on the worst days. and 3-4 ujs on best days+SQ..hehe

How to play 2 chars at a time:
*Make 2 seperate windows (XP) user accounts
*Start a3 in 1 user
*Do Start->logoff->(Hold shift) Switch User
*Login in to another account and play a3
*Both users should be on diff account.
*Now put both into party and enjoy playing 2 chars

When and Where:
* Do it after 12 at night when there are not many players and go to sleep.
* Make sure there are not many players arround where u auto hunt.
* Best map 1srank: C2, 2nd rank: C1 3d rank: R1.
* C2 is risky.. unless u got good mage merc.
* I can post the exact spont, but i prefer telling it to people in person..
coz if sm1 else cms to the spot u mite get pked.

HOw long:
* I used to do it 4-12 hrs a day.

What u get:
* 1 crystal a day depending on the type of monster/time u spend.
* 1 box of stone/hair/bone/scale depending on monster.

I tried doing what you said and does your character get exhausted when the mercs start hunting??

Any chance of letting me know the merc levels required to do this efficiently?

Nothing can be done .. just throw them out periodically.

No u dont get exhausted. i have hunted for 12 hrs+.

Any chance of letting me know the merc levels required to do this efficiently?

90-100 mage merc will suffice for starters, it takes 2-3 hits for a kill
but 120+ merc will be cool, it can do 1 hit kill. With each hit u take
ur shue gets close to death, when shue dies, u got more chace of dieing
even from the lowest of creeps.

As i really played before hatrel opened and mercs came into being one small problem which is becoming frustrating is that

My merc levels are around only 50 though i am almost g9 i mean was before hatrel opened.

Now the problem is i am trying to level my mercs one is hk for evasion and other is archer for killing but havent found great luck in levelign them any simple ways of leveling them coz if they are gonna level up with me leveling i feel that is a long way out.

well i too tried once like this with one single char.
turn merc to attack the closest and hid somewhere at the edge of temoz map hitting memoras.party with someone who is afk opening shop in town for autopick of drops.
but the problem here is how to feed hp to shue.
if i leave it for a while it dies.

I think the simplest answer to your query is dont use the shue anyways this hunt is not gonna contribute in any way to your or your shue xp so dont use it.

Also the point is how to get the merc level up in this case because as far as i have noticed the merc levels only after u level up a certain %age in my case

Nyways is there any way to speed up merc level up like neris for shue. Jst inquiring

Well

ALWAYS ALWAYS use shue, whether u hunt or not.
My archer merc gets 1 lvl in 8 hrs of hunt at lvl 105+ using auto hunt.
Doing solo is not good, coz when merc is hunting 1 creep, other will hit u
whatever b the lvl of ur merc. Thats y i said put 2 chars on party.

Hi madrock,

I agree with you in the sense some level is gained slower for merc but still there must be some way to increase the xp gained by archer merc.

Also regarding the shue it is almost impossible to actually keep the shue on and go away cause if i am not wrong in a period of 5min or so ur shue will have 15hp and u need to refill.

Atleast i dont know anyway of autofilling shue hp like that of merc hence i advised on keeping it off.

Nyways i dont think a g9 char in any of the mentioned maps except c2 needs to worry about creeps. Because as you pointed out if the meele units start hitting the char its well and nice but the merc needs to be better than the best to kill all of them.

Sadly mage merc does not have area attack would have preferred that if i was to keep shue on. Also hiding wont help coz wherever u place your character mobs are going to spawn if they are outside town so best is to keep shue off according to me if u plan on going of for hours on end keeping your merc on. Don't know much but that is my view

whts ur lvl whn hatrel opend ? cause many of my frnds lvl 120+ made their meric to lvl 44 with in 3days of t hatrel opening .....

My level was 131 when i left and about lvl 44 of mercs i got 2 mercs one is lvl 50 and other lvl70 right now. But still they are low for my level and dont really come useful in the maps i hunt they die if by accident i forget to shut their attack
