A Rant on "attitudes" and being nice..

Okay, people who "know" me in A3, I'm pretty okay with. But recently, I'm starting to get ticked off at some of the newer people in in-game.

Just because I'm a mage, it DOES NOT mean I am obligated to leech you or join your party.Most of the time same members of the party do not pull their weight and eat into my xp, money and drops. Sometimes I don't WANT to join your party, just because you aren't a fun person and I feel like a mass killing machine. Talk , make conversation, be interesting otherwise I'm out of here and PLEASE don't beg or give me a long story on how poor you are.

Just because this is an MMPORG, it doesnt mean I have to be "nice" all the time. YOU have to develop a tough hide because , these are REAL people playing the game, and like in real life people arent nice all the time for various reasons and life isnt always fair. Get over it.
Otherwise you are living in a fairy tale world. People don't just walk upto people randomly and expect a friendly response on introducing themselves. I HAVE A RIGHT to be suspicious and even more of a right in A3 since there are so many people who beg you for money/scrolls/armor just completely out of the blue.

This is an ONLINE game so chances are I am never going to meet ANY of you in real life. Even if I did, I will still say whatever the heck I want. Whining to me about how I am "rude" or have a "bad attitude" won't change the fact that you are being over sensitive about what a COMPLETE STRANGER SAYS TO YOU.

And without any context into what I have been through all day, whether MY day has been good or bad thereby affecting my moods and the way I am likely to respond to you in-game, YOU have no right to make judgements about me or the way my attitude is.

I am happy for those of you who have made friends in real life through A3 and met up with the people you game with. But I generally just want to play my game in peace. WITHOUT any whining and moaning.

Also , just because I'm a girl doesn't mean I have to be sweet, kind or cheerful. If you come to me with these stereotypes in your head then I am going to rip you apart. I mean , seriously , WTF ??? I am sweet with the people I want to be sweet with , if i think they are a nice person and DESERVE it. If you are a complete stranger , you are going to have to EARN it. If you think thats wrong. I have news for you - THATS HOW IT IS IN THE REAL WORLD. Just because A3 is an online rpg doesnt mean the rules have somehow changed.

I am not being unnecessarily b*tchy, just , I wish people would understand that I am not on some goodwill promotional tour of my wonderful personality.I'm here to play a fantasy game. Friends are good to have, but I choose them them carefully. The keyword here being "choose" .

I won't be surprised if after reading this some of you decide you don't want to be my friend. Thats okay with me. You do not make up an integral part of my life and i can survive just fine without you. Just, please try to understand the point I'm trying to make here.

Shadow I kno exactly how u feel!! as soon as I log in, i'm sometimes bombarded with pms and ims about party, etc...

it really gets irritating after a while and when u say no, ur the one that comes out to be the bad guy...it's a loose loose situation

but...i must say, though most are dependent on mages, that's only in the earlier stage of the game, we then become dependent on HK and warriors later on. Not that much really, we can survive pretty well on our own but with a warr or HK mages get the benefit of hunting for like an hour b4 tping and with our defense and vitality, that's a big deal.

still, my faith in not pking noobs kept me from going after his asss for the rest of the game but its so true. U guys HAVE to understand man!!! We're not here to socialize with everyone. We're here to have fun. Ergo if i ask some1 to help and he/she flatly sez NO, that's their friggin' right man!!!

so be kind, learn patience, understand virtue and if all those fail, well, u have troubles that go all the way back to the "real world" my friends.

staying wid the topic i'd like the low lvl guys to understand this ...

it takes us the same time to get a lvl as you guys but the only diff is we have better equips and we kill higher lvl monsters but the bottom line is it takes the same time and if we party wid a low lvl guy it takes us twice the time but u get a lvl in half the time ... so we are actually makin a huge sacrifice ...

And btw when i play wid my other low lvl charc and ask the ppl i have helped to help me they say ... "sorry but i don't party" ... so if ur selfish it's ur problem don't try to blame someone else for it ...

And also high lvl players are not ur personal BANKS and we don't have to give u money anytime u ask for it ... and when u do ask for a favour add the words "please" and "thank you" to it .... i have had ppl pm me wid "Give me money" and "i haven't asked u for money in 2 days so give me now" ... WTF!!

Guys nobody on this thread is tryin to be rude but we are just tryin to communicate and remember this ...

..... we can help u some of the time and not all of the time!
