hi guys we all have heard a lot abt leeching and its controversies but i just still cudnt understand wat is bad abt it. i thought of puttin up a poll 1st but im gonna w8 for ur replies so whoever thinks leeching is gud tell me why and whoever thinks its bad tell me why u think its bad
this may have cme up in an earlier post but i wasnt gonna waste time searchin 4 it
oh ya btw if u ask me for my opinion i say leeching is gud
look at me, i have leeched the whole way to 70 and im planning to do it even after i get freeze, that is, upto a certain lvl
so tell me guys what do u think?

Well, it takes 2 to tango. If you can find someone who has no issues with it, go ahead n play that way. You will miss out on 90% of the fun when you spend all your time in c1/grnita/s1 levelling up, but hey, it's your funeral.
Today it's normal to find people who have hit 90 or 100 without seeing any places other than the maps i mentioned. Neither have they worn each successive grade of armor, nor got a chance to hunt on maps when hunting there would have given them good xp.
Nor do they get to see the different creeps, or learn where to go to look for scrolls or anything.
The only question I have is-what do u do after that?
You cannot (thankfully) leech all the way to 165-after lvl 100 the effects of leeching start to wear off and you wont get that great xp.
Just answer this -wtf do u plan to do after crossing lvl 100.
"I want to lvl up". Ok, and then? What next? So u leeched your way to say 120. What do u do now??
This game is not about just getting to a high level and then waving your cock about to show how long you think it is.
An mmorpg is like a journey-they have designed maps and quests and skills so that at each level you have an appropriate set of skills, strength and equipment for hunting.
I've seen several ppl leech to lvl 100 within a week and then crib that the game is boring, theres nothing to do but boss hunt and bosses dont drop anything blah blah, so hard to lvl up..and then they quit.
Think about it and then decide how u wanna play.

as i said i will leech to a certain lvl from where only quests will help in lvl up
my prob is that i cant play a3 like most of u high lvl ppl who have been playin from a year or 2 yrs or so
i have to quit a3, which i plan to do by the beginning of next year coz i have decided to do MBBS once im through wit my 12th
so u see thats why i want to lvl up as fast as i can and then do quests till i quit a3
and oh ya im not gonna take the same quests which other ppl take i'd actually like to experiment with whole different quests. doesnt matter if they giv less exp than those horn of lirox and those hautz quest
and who knows, if a3 goes paid b4 the end of this yr then sadly thats gonna be the last time u will see or hear from sonofheaven

Wat sono says is absolutely correct that most ppl playing this game just dont have the time to quest all the way from lvl 1............ there is nothing wrong wid leeching as long as u r not bugging ppl abt lvl ups......... i have leeched a lot and I think i have done the right thing bcoz if i didnt go to c1 and r3 i would have still been a lvl 50+ (unless i played 24x7 which is not possible) and thats when the game would have become BORING!!! coz after playing the game for 3 months i still would have had no mass attack, would have still been scarred of going close to a boss,would have had loads of lore(totally useless stuff atleast at lvl 50) AND still couldnt fight back when provoked

Hmmmmm...... well sono truly speaking U CANT LEECH after u get freeze unless u r in a party wid another warrior bcoz where ever u go ppl wil ask u to freeze the creeps......
So take a couple of noobs lvl 40 or below (boosters Give u 3 times Xp ) to R4 or R3 and do quest there and lvl up LIGHTNING Fast .....
Btw I am a little busy nowadays wid exams so will help u after they r over.

I understand if this game was paid and then you had no time to lvl up ... so you leeched. But I just dont buy the argument that because you have no time, you leech. Its a FREE game dude ( at least for the moment ) you can take as long as you like even if you plan to quit at the end of the year. That gives you more tahn enough time to quest and lvl up.
Of course, if you are after the stupid ego trip that comes with leeching upto high levels then its a different matter altogether. Just be honest with yourself about WHY you want to leech.

Ya the game is free we know that but the problem is v have other things to do other that gaming 24*7...... Truly speaking v get only about 2 hrs in a day to play and thats not going to get U anywhere in 3-4 months if v quest on the other hand if v leech then v will get atleast some xp to compensate our lack of time for playing.

I agree that v look like A shiny car(a swordie) or a wild beast (axe) BUT i dont agree that lvling up is all about ego....... atleast its not for me and many others.
Ya for some leeching is a way of lvling fast and beating the hell out of a bully .... but the advantage of leeching INITIALLY is that u get to see a lot more abt the game... i mean u go for bossing or go for war(its showoff but wat the hell its fun ) and I think that bossing in C3 or S2 is lot more fun than than hunting rescas in vermeden

Y do high lvl ppl pk noobs in C1 or S1?? is that fair??.... and I have already said that noobs shdnt bug ppl for lvl ups............. if they do so then they do it bcoz mayb they r playing mmorpg for the first time.... chillll I also did it when i was lvl 10 or something

Believe me its not. I dont know if u have hunted them and for how long. I remember my days in vermeden when i was a warrior and a hk came there, and healed me. And off we were into party and had fun for a day. Then there were days when i used to party with Razorback killing gerges. I never saw that HK again. Razorback is one of my friends in this game.I think that bossing in C3 or S2 is lot more fun than than hunting rescas in vermeden
If u think only high lev and boss hunting can get u fun , i dont agree to it. Again though its my personal opinion. There are people who feel otherwise and i really feel they are correct from their point of view.
Leeching is neither bad nor good. Its how u do it is bad or good. Firstly exclude pure party play from leeching. Next the issue of leeching is bad only when u bug for party/cheat/dont agree to terms of ur high lev player. On the other hand if someone is leeched with consent of high lev player (say for example when his friend who is playing fro 2 mths is making a new caracter, i dont think leeching is bad then. U lev up from lev 1 to learn the game. Once u did it, its not worth wasting time.
