Hi!!

I have been playing a3 for quite some time now. I had a warrior of 50 lvl but i got bored of him so i have left him and started with an archer. She is of 48 lvl now. i have seen ur posts and they are entertaining to read. Are u also an archer in the game?? What is ur ingame char name? My char name is 'coldshiver', a bow archer of temoz.

Ya, Rex is kinda a mentor for all low lvl archers. He has helped many archers as well as other ppl ingame. For me he will always be "The guy who told me to keep the UJ at lvl 5"

His IGN is 'Eos' and his level is 111 (just reached here

If you're wondering abt archers-theres one thing I can say for sure:
Nobody who played an archer ever quit A3 because of boredom.
They would have left due to studies or other commitments but I'm yet to see anyone get bored of playing archer-they are great fun to play at any lvl, G1 to G9 !!

Well thanks for replying rex. Its great to get a reply from such a high lvl player (i hardly get any replies from high lvl players in game).
I seriously dont get bored playing the archer. they say archer is the toughest to lvl up in the start, but i say it is fun. They are seriously deadly as i have seen in the recent town wars.

I have a query. Do lore points affect the amount of hp and mp ur alloted after every lvl up? Or do they affect str or dex or anything else in the game??

They don't affect any of those things.
The direct uses of lore are:
Adjusting your stats-when u need to change your str/dex, or add more points to vitality etc (mostly u shouldn't fiddle with them as it will prevent you from wearing your armor correctly). Archers start off with 30 HP and 16 MP. Bow archers should add 3-3 points to str-dex, crossbow archers should add 4-2.
So u can calculate your correct stats for each lvl by using Excel (someone did that for HKs in the HK forum).

Creating a knighthood after lvl 80-This uses up 30k lore.
Changing towns-10k lore
Doing special quests-Special quests require special quest scrolls (very rare drops) and each one has a lore restriction.
Resetting passive points uses up 100k lore. (Passive points are got as 1 for each lvl beyond 100, and you can assign them using an NPC only after Hatrel releases).

Other than that..
Unofficially lore might help you get better identification on item drops, or reduce the chances of losing something when u die on a map.

But this is just speculation-some of the people who always get awesome options on identifying happen to have very high lore.
Still, having a large amount of lore never hurts, and the way to do it is by questing!

ACTUALLY DUDE, ARCHERS ARE THE EASIEST TO LEVEL AMONGST ALL CHARACTERS IN THE BEGINNING!

BUT THEN AGAIN IT'S EASY PROVIDED YOU GET A UJ AS A DROP, YOU CAN SELL IT OFF TO GET A LIGHTNING LARC AND GO KILL CYNICKS TILL LVL 11, THAT MEANS JUST 3 CYCNICKS, IF YOU CAN MANAGE THAT THEN YOU CAN GET CCOLD ARROW AND AND RULE!
