Never posted here b4 , but ran into some game trouble, and thought I could use a few more view points on the subject.
Well I've been searching for Mordi for a while now, and bump into this noob selling the last few pieces I need to complete my set, pay him like 16 UJ's for 2 pieces. Then I put in the peridots, garnets, opals, UJ's etc + the runes for re-loading. This noob character also happens to have a unique ring which he exchanges for One Frigg Staff (20% mounted), and one Normal Frigg Staff.
After about a month I get a pm from the guides saying the items have been reported hacked and belong to someone name Dragonseena. Now they said they would pay me back what I paid, but wht about the crafting I did on it?
Also I know for a fact no one can hack anyone unless passwords are shared, and I personally hate that cos I find it disgusting when people share RPG ID's and more than one person plays a character, as it ruins character identity, and is sort of a cheap way to lvl up as those characters will always be higher since more than one person are lvling it.
In a lot of MMORPG's where the community is a LOT more sophisticated e.g Shimlar, Lineage, Everquest, and the classic Diablo 2 (NOT XPAC), multiple players playing a character was a serious offense and those characters r always looked down on and disrespected.
So my question is..... SHould I return the stuff to the guides?
Or should I tell the Guides to take a walk, and too bad for the character sharing noob who lost his stuff................
Also wanna know the general opinion here on character sharing.
