Just need a few tips.

I am level 8 and have little money and my quests dictate i kill a few tough monsters.

1. what is the best way to make money ?? person mentioned Jewels , where to you find them.

2. I am spending my money on health potions, i have to kill an "amadys"
this monster is tough and is always surrounded by other monsters i keep using all my health potions but keep dieing any suggestions or is it just keeping having a go ??

See..this game is meant for partying! Some quests are intentionally tough, the idea being that you go along with a couple of other people and all kill monsters together.
You should find other low lvl chars to help you, both of you can take different quests for Elkenver/Wolfreck, eg heart of hemmerd and your amadys. For the amadys, best way is one of you hits the amadys, the other hits the brea that pops up.
Try to find a low lvl archer, she can hit the other amadys from a distance, while you focus on one of them.
As for making money-at your current level, just go outside town, bash a few memoras and sell the items they drop.
I mentioned Upgrade Jewels, or UJs. These are totally random and can drop anywhere at anytime. People have got em off memoras even!

But it's pure luck.

Doing ok at the moment

managed to find 2 degrade jewels and i sold for 600k each

so not bad this helps me buy potions

Also just got an upgrade jewel may hang on to this for a bit.

managed to get to Level 14 but i still have the same sword from when i started which is a pain its not very powerful

next level and i will be able to use a stronger axe so that will help a lot
hope i wont use my potions like water then lol

One Suggestion:

If you want to play this game for long, dont sell the UJs you get. You will require them at higher levels.

Once u cross lvl 20, money should not be a very big problem. You get enough to buy potions and then save some to buy your armours and weapons. Try to buy your armour from players and not from NPC.

The days when ujs remain in short supply would be over soon once hatrel comes out. And i m sure that this warrior wud not use g7 before that if he is not leeching. Once hatrel comes, ujs will sell max at 1.6- 1.8 mill. Today they go for upto 2.5 mil. So sell m off if u r noob.
