Ok I'll bite.
First answer the question-What do you level up for?? I've seen several cases of uber leeching-people who have 2 digit lore (i mean, COME ON!) and keep pestering for level up-or-the rudest of all-simply send a party request while you're chatting-then you press enter and surprise! You're in an unwanted party
The best way to play this game is a combination of soloing and partying. Thats what quests are for!! Like shadowfaye said in the recently revived post below-no one here owes you anything.
If anything-high level chars are pi$$ed off at people who leech n level up just to strut about town with their shields and armor turned on-or worse, start pking. (I'm not naming anyone, but I'm sure we all know several such ppl)
So back to my question-why do u want to level up?
If you can't find anyone to help you, too bad-go find an easy quest and keep doing that. Atleast put the weapons/skills you currently possess to some use!!
Look at people like Warman and Chief (and several others too, but these names just came to mind now). They've been around for ages-since the friggin game started-and there was no one to help em!!
How do u think they got to be 100+ today?
If they too sat around town and griped about ppl not 'helping' them, how would the game progress?
My advice to you is-DO QUESTS. Sure, it's boring and repetitive but you will learn a lot about the game that way.
You might find out something new in a map that no one usually goes to-if you post that info here you'll be doing a great help to others.
In the end-
no one is going to spoon feed you. THere are REAL people playing out there, and you have to earn their friendship or trust and not expect it like a god given right that everyone you see should be polite or lvl u up!!
