why complicate?
simple formula = approx 100 quests = 10%.

BTW the super mod for the a3 section in ragezone is a friend of mine in real life... and i get to play pvt server any time i want :P

Erm in case you did not know...

Ragezone hosts complete server files of a3. You can have your own server if you know SQL. And best part = It's absolutely free!!!

And yeah, private server is a million times better than official one :P ;) :D

angiasaa wrote:No two quests give the same amount of favour. Every quest is unique that way.

If you repeat a quest (better known as spamming a quest), you will stand to gain less favour than the quest normally contains.

So your math about (x * 100/200/300) is bogus. That does not work.
On re-submission (spamming), Quest favour is reduced by 20% every submission.

There is a better way though.

Alternate between quests. If your NPC provides only one quest at your current level, then alternate between quests from different NPC's.

You'll get gifts from the NPC's on quest submission ONLY once favour reaches a critical level. 35% is Critical. The A3 source code does not give an understanding of what happens if quest % goes beyond 35%.

Every time you quit a quest, you lose Favour. If you're doing a chain-quest, and you quit from the middle somewhere, then you lose a partial % of your accumilated favour.

Quiting a quest looses 2% of total favour gained till date.
Quitting in the middle of a chain loses anywhere from 0.1% to 1.9% favour, depending on where in the chain you decide to quit.

Just log into ragezone forums and ownload a copy of the A3 server/client. Then try to figure out how the server works. The config files can teach you a LOT of good stuff.

Have fun.. And any doubts or clarifications, catch me in game.

I don't think spamming of same quest can lead us to a disadvantage.
I use to do r4 quest 90-120 frm kaduru then p1 120-124 n atlast disc of jaloch 135-144 (i.e. before i got hacked).
I always use to do the same q . My char had developed gud relations n i made my full g9 set lvl10 all by myself w\o bless n enchanter. Same was the case with my TOD archer ' Morphosis' . I added AA,AD,bless etc in few tries frm my char.

So not sure if spamming the same q won't get us gud relations.

yes

Spamming reduces favour gain per quest submission. But it depends on the person. :) You do gain favour.. Only 20% less than if you alternated quests.

Hats off to you bro. You must be a very patient guy! ;) Woo-Hoo!! I wish I had that kind of patience. :)
