Wow, thanks for the news, I actually used to play that game long while back. The game was too detailed, clients had to even mine for every single metal for ores, and crafting was a entirely different story, you wont have enough things to craft untill lvl 180 or so (which is like 6 months 24/7 into the game). Regardless, I think the game was more of a money sucking machine then fun or entertaining, too bad players didnt realize it early on.rexdude wrote:Check out this Wired.com story about Asheron's Call 2 (an MMORPG)

The game is gonna end on Dec. 31st, as it's no longer profitable for the publisher, and the report talks about the game world being like a ghost town.
Rise of Nations : Thrones and Patriots and AoE 3!!!
Rise of Nations : Thrones and Patriots and AoE 3!!! My alltime fave FPS (more of an FPS-RPG hybrid though) You can play the game half a dozen times, and each time u will discover a new twist to the tale, or a different way of doing things. The only recent game with such flexibility is KOTOR (both 1 and 2). Then again-this game dates back to 2000, while the others are more recent.
