Is Buying/Selling with RC is legalised by GM's..???

Well, just being curious that whether, buying/selling of characters or in game items for real cash or a3 renewal have been legalised/approved by the Guides & GMs.

Cozz, these days see lots of characters placing shouts for trading in RC. Moreover, many rare in game items are offered for rc only.

I will quote an Incident, when i got lvl 100 and started accumulating wzz slowly by hunting and questing to get G8 armour and weapon. One day, when i placed a shout for buing G8 armour, a gentleman replied me and showed the entire g8 swordie set 20% mounted and requested me to buy for rc. I said i will pay in wzz only then the char suddenly disappeared and never returned.

Moreover, There are lots of characters trading near kinstone placing there cell Nos and asking for rc or a3 renewal only. U will also hear shouts like
"Buying a3 renewal !! PM me " or "Selling 500 mill Wzz for real cash or a3 renewal ", etc.

I request somebody please tell me whether trading for real cash has been atlast allowed in A3india server..??

dude bying an in game thing is only legal to buy buy with in game money wzs rest all r illegals so dont advertse so or ur char may be banned (although no 1 has been banned for such reason [:p])

I never said that I want to buy or sell in real cash.

My question was that, why action is not being taken against the players trading in real cash. Inspite, of so many shouts and trades being done openly.

that is because gms are of no use the r only banning ids for hacks real or reel

here are my two cents.......
ok i think its cuz of multiple reason which may be co-existential or individual

1. We know that thr are many many GMs chars and game jockey chars in-game which are at high lvls n basically hv a pretty good hold on in-game economy. These ppl may be selling stuff for real cash cuz its a really lucrative market. They have the protection of GMs, its d most common example of CORRUPTION. Its like a side business so common in India.

2. Most of these chars selling and/or advertising for selling of items and or wz for RC use sub-chars(i.e. NOT THEIR MAIN CHARS) so banning thm will be exhaustive and futile effect. There is no HARDWARE BAN in A3India and Ip bans are easy to get around. So i guess GMs are letting it go on....

3. Another possible reason is that if you think back to Q3 2007 A3India's popularity was goin down and profits were hard to come by mainly bcuz the game is very hard... In-game stuff being traded of real world currency has given a massive boost to A3India;s population...Seeing this Sify may be allowing it to go on with out having any thing to do with it directly only because ppl are buying RENEWALS !!! ITS PURE BUSINESS

4. Another reason similar to reason 2 is that there is just not enough staff in Sify to handle the sheer number of these In-game traders selling stuff for real currency. They are focusing on trying to secure A3Indian against Hackers......

Ok so here are a few solutions that d GMS may implement..........

1. Make a master A/c database where in all multiple a/cs owned by 1 person musht be tied up together.
so if u hv 2 or more a/c you must register thm under 1 main a/c. Gms should giv a tym ltm for this registration if not done within dat perion thy can FREEZ those a/cs...Also thr should be a scanner for TEMP EMAIL ids so that ppl dun use thm to reg new a/cs

2. FOR NEW A/C and for existing a/cs each id should be backed up with a MOBILE PHONE NUMBER. ie if u make a id a confirmation SMS is sent to ur CELL PHONE ( lyk a pass which u thn typ into ur a3indian a/c) only thn it will activate !!!!

3. A3Indian has an in-built word scanner which censors well u kno wat.....
a slight modification can be made so that it scans for ppl sending shouts for sellin stuff in real cash..... for EG:

CHAR TYPES : " Selling 500mill for 1500 per 100m CALL OR PM"
this should cm out as "Selling in-game items for REal cash is a NONO"

Also if u do it again n again thn ur char name is sent to d GMs( as u kno chats msgs r recorded)

Moony nothing cant be done about the real cash thing , this happens in almost every MMORPG . so chill and let the things go as they are now , GMs might have their hands packed already with hacking and other countless stuff in A3.

u can HV UR PCs SCAN FOR THESE i mean u do maintain logs of every damn thing dat ne player does in game Y DUN u guys in SIFY GT SM IT DUDE TO WRITE A PROG FR U FOR SCANING................
