ARE WE ALLOWED TO EDIT THE A3 DATA FILES ?

Hello GMs !

There was nothing mentioned on actor soft privacy policy and neither on the sify privacy policy, more over nothing mentioned in ROC about any changes are allowed to make in A3 data files !
Are we allowed to Edit the A3 india set up files !

And IF yes Then are we allowed to DISTRIBUTE it ?
Can We use it as open Source Information ?

I have Edited A3.exe Graphics patch !
Am I leagally allowed to Use it !
ANd if yes then am i allowed to distribute it as open source ?

well i think there shud be no problem if smone edits the data files , coz war style is asking is tat he wants to edit the data files frm the client side and nt the sevrer side, editing files on client files will chnage sm setings frm the cleint side which has nthingh to do wid the server or effect others in any way(except under certain circumstances) ,
ya style i think sify wont say u anything fr editying bt i dont think u can distribute them .

just turn of bug reporting and u can listen to better music than this junk game's music while playing

You can edit the a3 sound for different maps. By below methods.

1. Open the a3 client files.

2. Go to the folder named - ' Data '

3. Convert any mp3 , Wma or any file to .wav files by window media music rip.
(try fruitiloops or any audio converter. ) make sure file format is .wav.

4. Rename the .wav file to main and paste the file in data folder.

5. Replace the file with main file.

6.open the game client and enjoy the music.

NOTE :- this is the same way to edit the .wav in other games
popular MMORPG :-final fantasy, anarchy online, Wow , ever quest etc

popular RPG :- GTA, microsoft flight simulator, half life , IGI etc.

Any MMORPG or RPG whose .wav file is not integrated with data files as .cab file. By any V.B script files.

edit it all you want .. it'll only be client side ..... unless u know how to move further ... mwahahah...
