SMS and Saving Scroll from Gerge!!

Today is my super lucky day or something..

I've heard of grace dropping from Granita Pelton before (Link:http://www.forum.a3india.com/viewtopic. ... tons#30361), but never this.. Just wanted to know if I'm just damn lucky or what

Today, in a span of 20 minutes, around 9 AM, I got first SMS and then Saving Scroll dropped from Gerges in Vemerden. (That's where I train my merc)

Has this happened before or is it a server first?

Okai, Now don't spam me with "It can't have happened!" replies, I'm not here to argue or make believe. Just wanna know if it's really a first or if it happens often. That's all.

ya whn mah char was arnd lvl 50 i was doin timepass in memora field n i got a savin scroll frm a big kat....

Cool! So I'm not the only lucky freak around here. Are there any other items that are not map-bound?

So far, I've seen SS drops in Vemerden and C3, SMS drops in R4, C3, S2 and Niff.

Just off topic, but I'm dying to get my hands on Some Lotys items.. Unfortunately, there's no Drop-list for weapons and armour anywhere in the forums.. Apart from a lucky Lotys Pant drop from C3 Pelton when I was still getting 2% per Cynick, I've never seen G7 Bow Archer items drop anywhere.

dont be too excited ... i have got SS from gerges 2 times before ..
( i dont have a archer which lvls up in c3 .. i get to do alot of quests .. from any npc i get .. )

however Vemerden is been very lucky for me ... as i found sq 1-1 and sq 2-1 there ... while was a noob .. which helped me to buy a perfect SS combo on lvl 48 and 23 ...

and just yestarday i got SS drom from Hautz in r4 as i was doing quest ..

how ever ... R4 boss rocks better than any boss coz its the only boss i can kill ... as i am just 84 lvl ....... and yes Gerges area is best place to for merc lvl up ...

well... SQ scrolls are not map bound i gt sq1-1 n 1-4 frm wolfrek

hwy has ne 1 noticed dual drops in S1 sm times i gt 2 of the same drops @ the same time whn i used 2 hunt in S1 happnes in P1 also....ne ideas as 2 Y?

Well, I have'nt had a look at A3's random number generation code, but from what I've learnt from my programming experience, Random numbers are _often_ picked from close ranges. if you have a generator that runs between 1 to 50, the generated numbers will skip along and you'll notice some numbers very close to each other. Something like: 1, 15, 40, 42, 68, 69, 12, 98, 82... etc..

I figure it's gotta do a lot with chance really. like sometimes when you do a quest, you need 4 horns of Lirox.. You get the first two in your first mob itself. Third comes soon too. and you'll keep hunting for the last horn for the next two hours and you'll still be hungering for that horn.

Yeah, turns out SS and SQ scrolls are not map-bound. I got two SMS from R3 in a span of less than 10 minutes yesterday, closely followed by SQ 1-2. Now all I need are Buyers for SQ 1-2. lol!

its equal to 1-4 in terms of its presence in the server....1-2m..ppl hardly buys grrrr
