I agree with you ragna was kind of too childish.It was addictive for a while but it got boring later on.The monsters sucked in ro so did the combat.I didn't like the background music either it was like going back in time and playing a 80's game.On the contrary A3 is much much cooler.The background music is pretty nice too and the npc support is just brilliant.yeah the weapon combat is really good.anyone who plays diablo2 should feel right at home at this one.Only thing is there are a very few players playing online gotta look around to find ppl.yeah and wat the heck the npcs always buy stuff at 1/10 the price

only problem is the system reqs.
this needs a pretty decent system with good graphics to work

Just that the funky, fun side of RO is nice...
this one's all dark and stuff,. and there are like a million others out there..
Either way.... tis free.. so I'm like cool with playing A3..

Hey dudes. Started playin this game a week back.
Was on Ro before that.
I miss somethings in Ro. Like the fun side of it. Ya and the huge no. o maps u could explore. Personally I explored every map (not dungeons) on Ro before my first char became second jobber. Ab it was hellova lot of fun. You can do pretty much what u want
A3’s cool cause its more like an rpg should be. The quest system roks!! Ive never found myself short of wz for anything. I figure that’s why I don’t hear any irritating ‘plz give mme Wz’ from anyone. Thank god!!
Also the crafting things is cool!! It really involves u. Ros got nothing like that. Unless u count collecting items to create special hats and high lvl weapons. But theres no way u can compare.
Both games are cool in their own way. Party system in Ro I think is better. More chars and more monsters. But nothing beats A3s graphics!!
One thing I did figure out. Ro is lvl based. Meanin everything depends on your lvl and the stats u choose to have. A3 is more based on weapons and armour. U have to divide your skills and stats so that u can equip your weapons an armour. Kinda limits my choices. I cant distribute my stats anyway I like!!

thats exactly the reason y i prefer RO compared to A3. I feel A3 is kiddish. esp the limitation on stat distribution. i mean... warrior stats are dex str hp n mana. but u gotta increase only dex n str. if u dun follow it then u will suk coz u cant equip good items..! not my typ. i like playing around with stats. even in RO i never made orthodox stats.
what i would say about ragnarok is that it is an game for kids the game resembles pokemon stuff which is stupid. the difference is that a3 is a game of resembling war weopons and not cartoonish character like ragnarok

A3 is much much more better than Ragnarok. The monsters in ragna look more like cute toys than beasts in the beginning. Of course at higher lvls in the guild dungeons they seem more vicious but still i prefer the looks of a3 better to ragnarok.
Also when it comes to stats management, a3 is so much more simpler with having only 2 stats to worry about whereas u have to maintain 6 of them in ragnarok.
Also if u dont have an acolyte with u then so much time is spent in sitting and healing urself unless u choose to become a vit swordsman.
Another + point of a3 is the quest completion. Ragnarok has got a few quests here and there mostly impossible, like getting the Skirt of Virgin by killing Sohees and getting 4 types of leaves and flowers. The drop rate of these items is below 0.01 %.
All character classes can open shops in a3 whereas u have to have a merchant and develop that open shop skill to some lvl in order to put items on sale. That sucks.
But as an archer in Ragnarok u have the advantage of sniping and also the great general.<<stationary high lvl monster>>
So on the whole i feel a3 is a much much better game than ragnarok in terms of looks, concept and easiness than ragnarok.
