I should have checked that you are from Netherlands. My apologies on that.

Having read your concerns and reasons behind quiting, I understand that it is mainly down to the influx of botters in A3.

The problem of botting to me, is a double edged sword. In my investigations of the botters, I have found them to be equally passionate about the game. Their only problem lies with the time and committment that they are willing to put into the game grinding their way up. Put simply, they are unable to commit that time/resource/money into doing that.

I'm not speaking on their behalf but I've always believed that before I even start judging anything, I should find out more about the issue 1st.

However, every games has its policy to run and so has A3. Our policies stated that we are against botting and that stand has never changed or wavered. However, what we have seen is a over-whelming influx of new/existing botters. While we try our best to get them out of the game, we realized that we are then lost in the Cat & Mouse chase, losing valuable time and resources that can be used to create more good activities/events/game improvements/etc.

There are still resources reserved for the eradication of the botters but it is never enough to please everyone. If I punished and banned 50 tomorrow, can we guarantee there wouldn't be people asking for a 100 more?

Why dun we face it different? Let's look at them as an isolated lot who does things differently from us. There's no right or wrong, just how the person does it. Someone once told me about how they felt like home when he's online and that's because of his friends online. In a way, he felt that the levels and riches are all just beautifiers and bonuses. The REAL thing is the persona that he has formed in-game.

That is precisely what you have built so far. So, why lose it?

forgive me for being long winded...

wat BS!! from that guy's argument y dont every 1 just bot then!! and also y not just have a downloadable bot on their site while they're at it. His argument does not even come close to justify botters!! and there will never be one so it's either ban botters or honest players leave.

"...an isolated lot who does things differently from us. There's no right or wrong, just how the person does it..." omg!! is this guy actually a gm or something??!
