I agree with you in the sense it is difficult to hack the servers without the proper platform but it can be done you just need the write tools and good understanding of the client installed on your machine.
But not very sure where this topic is headed because there is no way security for serious hacking can be resolved without bringing up firewalls and allowing limited bandwidth which will lessesn the game effect hence will in turn be harmful.

well... i have personally tried packet crafting... and tell u server has its own detection method as soon as this packet will reach to server you will be kicked out of game .. I mean you will be DISCONNNECTED FROM SERVER
Latest hacks looks like is kinda some bug, this may be at game level (lil chances) or at website level (highest possibility, not at a3india site but may be at sify site).
