Need help with Crafting

I've read the forums on crafting but I still can't seem to understand the system. Can someone post a detailed step by step guide on how to make a box. Please state the quanitites of each item required and which slot they go into. My understanding is that we need to see Kadura and go into "combinations". Beyond that I am lost.
