Choose ur merc's wisely...

hi all,

posting these for al those ppl who dont know about which merc to choose and why to choose.

my personal suggetion will be:

warrior= archer mercenary
holy knight= mage mercenary/ or archer mercenary
mage= holy knight mercenary
archer= warrior mercenary

now regarding the merc u choose always keep in mind that if u r a melee attacker than choose ranged mercs.
if u r a ranger than choose melee attcking mercs for tanking the creeps.

distribute ur mercenary skill points wisely and try getting max rowbust first as that can cm real hlpful at higher lvls.

hope this hlps a few ppl in getting right mercs

Hi all,
If ur an archer choose warrior merc.. I'm 110, got decent attk but all the
bosses keeps running, and is difficult to hunt down with other creeps arround,
like in c3 and s2. So i make use of my warrior merc, Hes got defense maxed
out,g6 set, and can easily tank most bosses. So what i do is, i make him hit
the boss, he dosent kill it, but makes the boss unmovable, since boss will
focus on the merc. I do the kill from range, this strategy works fine for
r4,s2,niff,c3,s3 bosses. If ur an archer u can try this, and u know wat, u can
kill the above bosses in solo

. The bosses will be so confused with the merc
and u wont waste much hp. Archer player and warrior merc is the
combination that works gr8. Enjoy.

Well i think that warr mercs are completely useless.correct me if im wrong.

An HK merc of same lvl can take more efficiently.
Plus the hk merc gives u more evasion/accuracy (not usually needed fa archers, talkin bout accuracy, not evasion)

The warrior merc eats up all of ur HP, n archers already have kinda low hp pool.

The only 2 mercs worth takin are archer n HK. Both give excellent auras n are efficient.

best PvE merc is mage as far as i think. u can look at Reallysorry's merc, it cleans off any area u go upto r4 right now. in fact, if he takes a r3 quest n keep it on attack nearest creep and stand at entrance. it doesn't allow any creep to even approach near him. plus it has skills to remove ele defense n ele attacks of creeps. i seen Reallysorry's merc does upto 4000 damage on creeps(killed ewealla in 2 shots many a times, killed cyniks in 1 shot many a times too).

downside is, mage mercs have low vitality.

HK n Archer are good PvP mercs for all ( crit evasion , hustler being especially good skills)

imagine a warrior merc with g8 spear (has range of 2 and has melee attack). so, it can hit certain creeps from range n thus won't take damage as creep fails to advance forward. if u are a mage, this can be done while u sb that creep

so, all mercs have pros n cons. depends on how u use them.

Or u can use all the mecs, depending on the situation, but the problem is
all will share the exp and u cant concentrate on 1 merc.
My primary merc is warrior
- for solo boss hunting (I give all quest exp to this)
- Max defense passive, sword warrior with mounted axe
- All set is 30% mounted so every remaining points to defense
archer merc
- for hunting - in c3, niff, s2
- Max hustler and fatality
- If sm1 else is tanking boss, i use this as merc for critic
- Good for pvp (pk)
HK merc
- when im in tao , saves me from death
- hehe started leeching in tao, i go there only with my KH

Just for fun im lvling up all the mercs

I can buy only3 so unable to test mage,

Hmmm maybe. Only used warr merc fa once, n dint like it at all. M a hk btw. That archer merc boosted my crit like hell

Man any1 can tell me like wht the passive skill points do?
I seen many passive skill points in my merc window. didnt toched them only just keep updating stats of merc in that window:)

Anyways wht cna u suggest me for my hk merc. should it be lvled as mace or sw
I think sw is better as by this discussion its clear that for solo boss hunting some merc has to face him.

My hk merc 137 gives only 70-150 hits on bosses uses g7 level 8 stufff
with options

best attck is of mage merc but i prefer not to use merc while bossing , i mean i put my merc on but in non attcking mode, coz my merc's set sucks to core still it gets cool damage on epi1 boseess

u might be a bit wrong here
i played with mocambo's char before he left he has a mage mercy nearly his lvl 109
he is a spear worrior maxxed set(i already sold that) went to bossing one day
mage mercy rockssssssssss
in c3 keep it attacking on boss
it attacks him from max range(out of boss limits,since mocambo was tanking)
bloody hell g5 set maxxedcrit rate god dam killed that boss in 1/2 hp
that skills of mercy keppt reducing his def
its like prop of g9 unqiue spear remove atri def+
ele mastry man mage mercy best for worriors and hks

justt imagine without ele def if she hits a elemental blow

abov eis only true becuaz of light worrior vs fire ele monster
