WELL, WE CAN ACTUALLY PUT AN END TO THE USE OF MULTIPLE IDS, HERE IS HOW.

1] MAKE IT COMPULSARY FOR AN EMAIL ID TO BE MENTIONED FOR A FORUM ID TO BE MADE.
CURRENTLY, WHEN AN ID IS MADE, IT IS SIMULTANEOUSLY CREATED ON THE SIFY EMAIL SERVICE, ON THE A3 SERVER AND ON THE FORUMS. THIS CAN BE REDUCED TO JUST AN ID CREATED FOR THE FORUMS.

SO THE ID USED FOR FORUMS AND GAMEPLAY SHALL BE DIFFERENT.
THE GAMEPLAY ID WILL BE CREATED ON SIFY EMAIL SERVICE, BUT THE FORUM ID WILL NOT BE, ALSO ANY ID CREATED FOR THE GAMEPLAY WILL NOT BY DEFAULT BE ACCESIBLE TO THE FORUMS.

2] SINCE FORUM IDS WILL REQUIRE AN EMAIL ID TO BE PRODUCED, IT WILL HINDER CERTAIN ANTI-SOCIAL ELEMENTS FROM CREATING MULTIPLE IDS, ALSO IF ANY BUGGER DOES ACTUALLY CREATE MULTIPLE IDS, THEN HE HAS TO KEEP LOGGING INTO THE EMAIL IDS TO KEEP THEM ACTIVE, OR ELSE AFTER A CERTAIN PERIOD OF INACTIVITY THE EMAIL ID WILL EXPIRE AND SO WILL THE ABILITY TO POST ON THE FORUMS!![THIS CAN BE ENSURED BY SENDING FREQUENT MAILS TO THE PROVIDED EMAIL ID, IF THE EMAIL ID GOES INACTIVE THEN THE EMAILS SENT FROM THE FORUM WILL BE RETURNED, THIS WILL SIGNAL THE FORUM TO BAN THE INACTIVE ID!!!]

3] THEN AGAIN, CERTAIN ANTISOCIAL ELEMENTS CAN BE DESPERATE ENOUGH TO TAKE THE PAIN TO MAKE NEW IDs AND MAINTAIN IT, JUST TO SUPPORT THEMSELVES!

If there was a expiry date for the mail ID's on Forums I don't think a lot of ppl wud have been able to make a come back(including U )

NAH! I HAVE PROVIDED AN ALTERNATE EMAIL ID AND I CHK IT ALMOST EVERYDAY, SO CAN'T HAPPEN. THIS SURE WILL STOP MORONS FROM CREATING MULTIPLE IDs, COZ WHO HAS THE TIME TO MAKE 15 DIFFERENT EMAIL IDS AND THEN MAKE 15 NEW FORUMS IDs THEN VERIFY IT, KEEP LOGGING IN CONSTANTLY TO EXIT THE GRACE PERIOD AND ALL THAT! IT'S A REAL PAIN FROM MY PERSPECTIVE.

I'M NOT SAYING THERE SHOULD BE A EXPIRY DATE FOR FORUM IDS, THE EMAIL IDS WILL EXPIRE IF YOU DON'T LOGIN FOR 3 OR MORE MONTHS. SO ONCE THE EMAIL ID HAS EXPIRED THEN ALL EMAILS SENT TO IT WILL BOUNCE BACK.

THIS TECHNIQUE CAN BE USED TO DETERMINE UNUSED IDS. PLUS NO GRACE PERIOD SHOULD BE ALLOWED, FOR FORUM IDS.
