Plz gms n players... sggest a remedy

Hi gms,

I have an a3 cd which is of a slightly older version... so there are 28 files to upgrade so that i can start playing a3..

However the upgrading speed is terribly slow..((the 1st a3client.exe which is 1.5 mb takes about 30 - 40mins))...
Downloading speed however is around 14kbps at peak hourss and 28kbps in late night...

Is it possible to download these 28 files separately and patch them in the a3 folder???? If so plz provide the link... i desperately wanna play a3..

Also i started downloading the game (334.79 mb)11 about 300mb is complete as i am typing this post... is this file completely updated till yesterday??( i started download yesterday..)

Plz provide a solution to thisws problem..

Hi....

u saying tht u hv cd...bt u cant download it fast.. as per i know to download a3 frm cd hardly takes 5 to 10mins..

and u saying tht in ur pc its downloading very slow. plz check ur system configurations cuz its never take so much time to download a3 frm cd..

thanx for tryin ta help... but u misunderstood the situation...

I finished installing from cd...
now when i start game then there are 28 more file that are gonna be downloaded from net... these take time to download...

I dont think it takes that much time to d/l. U can do 1 thing. Get the following files of A3INDIA from ur friends who are having working version of current a3india, via yahoo/msn transfer:

A3.exe
A3client.exe
Launcher.exe
VN.ini (this file just contain the version number so u can skip and manually change it to 1.18 in ur old vn.ini file which is present in data folder in a3 directory).

Hopefully this should serve as a temp solution.

P.S.I m not responsible if this method results in any violation of A3 roc, method being changing of a3 client is strictly speaking against roc, or if ur A3 client crashes while loading/playing.

Man what are u using???

Dialup???

Check ur system firewall and other downloads. And disable windows updates.

And if u have a friend nearby who plays A3. Copy his A3 folder to a CD. Copy it to ur system and start playing.

But to be honest. The kind of speed u are having right now will only delevel u by lagging.

Check ur system and net speed.
