ummm..... i m a bit low on def... pumpd som points in mp n hp whne i wz new... game jockey didnt guide me.... i playd diablo so thot it wud be like dat... but game play here is totally diff man..... i hav a high attack for a lvl 56 mage... i mean... i cud take out a lvl 47 mage when i wz 43..... i hav a low def.... hell yatakes kill me in 1 shot... uusally.... i m g5... wt shud i do ?! for a nice attack as well as nice def... ?!

QUEST, EARN LORE AND THEN UNDO WHAT YOU HAVE DONE!

DON'T WORRY AS THERE IS NO WAY THAT YOU CAN "OVER-SHOOT" THE REDUCTION OF MANA AND HP AS THERE IS A CAP TO IT FOR EACH LEVEL UP, YOU CAN THINK OF GOING BLOOD AFTER 90!

COZ YOU ARE GONNA FIND IT TOUGH WEARING NEWER GRADES OF ARMOUR!

What u do is-spam the 'Memora of Rangdel' quest from Elpuron (check which healer NPC in temoz). You get 300 lore for 20 dark memoras in R1-you can do it easily with area attack.
Go on reducing whatever points you added up till u get the message 'u cannot reduce below your level' or something similar.
Now consult this site:

Type your lvl and it will show u the correct stats for each type of char.
Adjust your points accordingly.

My char name is Willkill ..... i m frm temoz...... hope to c u guys arnd... n btw .. i wanted to ask... our mp n hp bars are boosted every lvl ?! n wts tanking ?!

n btw... wt kinda mage shud i be ?! dex or strngth ?! i.e. non elemental or elemental... personally.. i think non-ele is da better till 100 or so... n wts "going blood" ?!

Yup, your hp mp bar increases with each lvl, how much it increases depends on the character type.
Tanking=being able to survive a direct hit from a creep-usually the term refers to surviving bosses' hits. So if your HP bar is 1000, and a monster's attack power is 600, it means u can tank it.

Type of mage again is personal preference-theres a trade off between attack power and defense.

Going blood=putting all your points in each lvl up into vitality-that way increasing your HP bar. THat way u can tank bosses at later stages easily.

It is generally advised for mages to go blood-whether to go blood at G7 (90) or G8(110), whether to be int or dex till going blood-all these are debatable issues and different ppl have different opinions about it.

Blood mages can hunt bosses easily-and thats why few mages go G9 or G10. A G8 mage will have more tanking capability as compared to G9 or G10, and a maxed out G8 set can perform better than a G9 one.
