Mumbai rocks ... I've never had too much problem with this side of things. I think whatever works out cheaper depends on what ELSE you using it for ? I have my own comp for my graphic design work, for which I also need a pretty fast connection. I guess what I pay per month is pretty steep compared to you guys, but I use it for a LOT of stuff ( Bittorrent downloads, gaming, design, email and chat, blogging etc etc ) Its worth it.
If you play for just a few hours everyday, then I guess going to a cybercafe is okay, but Ive always found that there are safety issues for me, plus its really easy to get your password through a keylogger and its not private OR comfortable.
But if you are an obsessive gamer
, who plays at odd hours its better to get a connection at home, however much it costs. Just my two cents , it may not be THAT helpful to your question
