No the victim doesnt lose XP.Also the PK'er will suffer negative effects like lore loss skill loss also .If he kills 3 players he is branded a murderer and any player can kill him wothout any penalties.

go ahead keep pking..... there a few effects to people who pk though

1. you gain lore points(not a good thing, over 1000 lore points you are thrown in jail, and a jail exists within the game if u didnt know )
2. the chances of creeps drop items for you becomes more difficult.
3. you are declared as a murderer.(anyone can pk you and gain no penalties)

so u think you can have fun pking.... go ahead pk people. but remember these consequences.

I don't mind PK'ers but why kill new players man(low level players).Try killing higher lvl players man. That'll be more fun for all involved .

What's the acceptable format for PK? I got challanged by this Holy Knight while hunting in Fairmonde. He said he wanted to fight me. I said sure, lets try. I ran around a bit and shot him twice, and he died. I noticed that some kind of icon came over my head after that for some time.

In this scenario, will I get the penalty for the PK? How long will the penalty last? How can we indulge in PK/PvP without incurring any penalties?

Thanks,

Okay. Found the following info on PK/PvP at the other A3 site.

1. Player Vs Player Combat

Besides killing monsters in-game, it’s also possible for players to kill other players given the following conditions:

• PVP is only allowed after level 11. (Meaning you won’t be able to kill or be killed by other players before reaching level 11.)

• PVP can be done anywhere except within the walls of the town.

Attacking a Player

• CTRL+Left Click on player - Attacks another player with your basic attacks.

• CTRL+Right Click on player - Attacks another player with skills/spells.

Do note however that the following occurs when you kill another player:

• If you initiate combat and kill another you’ll gain 30 minutes of parole time

• Upon reaching 600 minutes of parole time, the player will be labeled a “Murderer” turning the name of the character red.

• There will not be any penalties on the player if he kills someone within the “Self Defense” period.

• Parole time will be reduced only if the character is logged on.

• When in “Murderer” status, you will not have access to any merchants.

2. PVP Arena
There is an Arena in-game, for players to pit their combat skills against each other without the penalties which you’ll otherwise get if it’s done elsewhere. This arena is accessible via both towns. The 2 towns link to the same arena.

Within PVP Arena, you can create your own room or join the rooms others have created, set up teams and initiate matches.
