Depends on your level. Also I assume u want to level up on your own and not leech fulltime as so many ppl do.
The best strategy is to alternate quests and partying, where your healing/necten can be useful to the party members. (I follow a similar strategy with my archer).
Do quests for when you're bored or there's nobody online.
For partying-if you can make friends close to your level, there's nothing like it. You can all party together, do quests together and level up together.
So here's the breakup quest wise:
1-15 - Repeat the memora quest. Don't party as yet, cos you won't survive even Carode.
15-20- Do Elkenver/Wolfreck quests-alternate with partying in Carode with a mage, whom you can heal.
20-35-Do Fairmode/Vemerden quests-party in Carode as before, try going to C1 also with a mage.
35-50: Do Folkvangar/Carode quests (heart of grou, thread of kumanon)
and continue partying in C1 with mage.
50 onwards: Now you don't need to rely on others, you can level up yourself with necten.
50-70: R2 quests
70: Jump quest that takes you to 75-don't miss it!
75-80 and 80-90: R3/R4 quests. Party in S1
100 and beyond: By this stage, you don't really need to leech up (I could be wrong). So the best way is to take easy quests (that can be finished quickly) and keep doing them.
People like Darksoul have setup home in nooby (for them) maps like R3 despite being 110+ for this reason!
Remember one thing-HKs can be pretty self sufficient if they choose to. You get one of the most important skills, necten, very early at lvl 50, compared to freeze for warriors at 81, or archer's arrowstorm at 73. (All are area attacks)
Of course, mages rule with firefield right from the 30s.
Hope this post was useful.
