Riviera - The PK'er

hey guyz,

im a newbie to the game and i was getting tanked in clarb ground floor when this mage comes in with a lower grade armor than mine and starts attacking my team mate. i get angry and i attack her. the next second she kills me.

i got to know later that she was a high lvl player and she was in low lvl armor to fool us. when i found out this, i told her that i was sorry and she asked me to party with her. at first i refused but she said that she would help me lvl up. when i partied with her, she asked me to come to niflgarr as she would lvl me up there. i didnt know that it was a very high lvl place then and i went there. when i did, at first i expected her not to be found there but she was there. somewhere deep inside. then i dunno how but i got teleported to her and she told me that she forgot her tp scroll. i gave her mine. she told me that she will teleport me to town using her power that she just used on me. i believed her and gave her my tp scroll. but she was never came back and as expected i died the very next moment.

i know i have wasted ur time by saying all this, but i just want to tell that the newbie's are getting demoralized by such acts from the high lvl players. please dont do this.

if there is any high lvl player who can help me lvl up, please let me know. my char name is Noozy.

There was a better way to teach the noob, dude..at least tell him why such behavior is not liked!
Listen noozy...if u leech all the time in c1, expect to be pked. People who are high level today got here by questing in parties..not permanent leeching in c1 or wherever!
C1 is happy hunting ground for pkers. Keep that in mind. Take a quest from any of the NPCs, go to Vemerden or Carode or Elkenver/Wolfreck as suited to your level. Don't go there alone, take other low lvl friends with u in party and all lvl up together.
Not only is it more fun than watching olgocs roast, you all get decent drops as well apart from having some variety in the game.
So many ppl have leeched their way to the 60s and 70s, many know nothing of these low lvl maps-and miss out on the fun of hunting there.

Stay out of Riviera's (and other pkers) way, and go lvl up on your own.

yes, i will do quests but it was not good on her part to kill me like that. and when i asked her why she got me killed in niflgarr, she teleported me to the outside of temoz and killed me again. this is not fair. please help me.

Well...riviera aka arthas has his own quirks.
At your level there's nothing u can do to retaliate, so avoid the area where he hunts, thats all i can say

The thing is that all high level players get annoyed by leechers which is obvious. If you got PKed by a high level player there is nothing you can do. Instead make high-level friends by striking up interesting conversations and asking them your genuine doubts.
If you have a group of friends playing A3, do quests together. I have this simple funda regarding quests (wheather others agree or not), the more quests you do, the more your interest in this game will last. If you've completed all the quests of your lvl (from different NPC's), an occasional leech won't hurt (again, be ready to face the wrath of high-level players).
Many people lose interest in the game quickly because of excessive leeching. Questing will give you lore and objects (that give good price). Questing will also improve your knowledge of the game.
Always remember that if you do quests, you will earn the respect of high level players inspite of your level. This is personal experience.

i am doing quests. i only get tanked sometimes. but it was not good on the part of Riviera to make fun of me like that and get my hard earned xp down.

i think she owes me an apology. dont u guys think so? please vote for me. Riviera owes me an apology.

Well see the extend of leeching.Usually low levels use to come direct to c1 and ask party, if there around 50 they come to s1.

Me and Reydan were doing quest in party in S1, I saw this guy a warrior, he asked Reydan prty and joined in. I didn't say anything and asked is lvl, he said he was lvl24. Then he started to abuse high lvls for pking him C1 and said this is safe for him leech.

I got angry when he abused high lvls(hope I can count me into high lvls I guess can't high?) for pking him in C1, and said he can leech here and safe for him. I asked to leave party and go do quest. But he didn't leave.

So I gave him free tp.

I did coz, its ok u come to S1 when ur 50+ and ask party, r u come with a party from town. But at lvl24 coming direct to S1 leeching, shows how lazy they r and making fool of those leveled doing quest.
