I have been hunting S1 for some time now, doing quests for leveling up. I have tried the following:
-Hunt solo vs. hunt in party
-Hunt at different times of day
-Hunt in different locations in s1
-Hunt when the whole map is empty and there's no one else around.
Yet I hardly get any drops. My drop rate is like 1 G6 item every 4 days!!!
All I get in S1 are stones, bones, neridars, ores and of course pointy hair.
S1 allegedly gives G7 drops-but i have never,ever to date got one. And it's 20 levels since I started questing in S1, now im above 100.
Please do something about the drop rate. At high levels, we need shitloads of cash for crafting options on G8/G9, and getting decent drops is the only way.

The drop rates of the bosses are self-governed. They do have a high probability of dropping no item at all. This is a fundamental feature of MMOG's. It adds the element of risk and surprise in it. Take it as a challenge. Do remember that the bosses still give you good exp. Keep hunting. Some time along you are gonna get a bounty of items from a single boss.
