Not able to see characters!!!!!!!!!

hi
i was palying f9 till 2:40 and then got dced due to the urgent mantainance u guys were doing .. then after i tried to login @ 3:50 PM i was able to connect and then when i selected "radyan " and was directed to the character window I could not see any characters in my account , there were only 2 options there "New character" and "Exit" .. New character opt . was not working and only Exit was working ... solve out this prblm asap..
