Noob Question, How do you resurect a Shue?

I've a dead Shue, yes I forgot to feed it, how do I resurect it? I've the resurection stuff but when I try and use it it gives me "can't resurect an equiped Shue" and yet I can't unequip the Sheu either. What am I to do?
