1 small suggestion , When u buy a laptop make sure its not bulky
even if it has cool features. My frnds have bought laptops that are really
big with lots of freatures but they use it more like a desktop and they dont
carry it arround, now they feel that desktop would have been better since
its hard to carry bulky1s. Make sure screen size is samll enough for carrying
and good enough for gaming.

Buddy, if your range is from 50,000-55,000 then best is that u buy lenovo laptops. its got gud configurations and has better security options. And yeah the ISP of Broadband BSNL wud be the best. Take the Rupess 750 plan which i m using. Will give speed of 128 Kbps. Hope my suggestion wud be of any use to u.

Hmm for a 50-55k range you can go for a Lenovo or a Sony Notebook, they have quite decent features and are customer friendly(Cost,Feature,Looks,Performance, etc).
If you have a nice budget for a internet connection then opt for a 256kbps Unlimited connection or the 512kbps Unlimited connection(Unlimited makes it easier coz then you wont get a shock as an after effect when you get a 5 figure bill after 2 months

).
thx

LOL yeah. I was a lil busy today. Went to meet one of the great A3 personalities. Didnt want to miss the oppurtunity.
As for you topic, you could go for Lenovo as people said. But if you dont mind putting in a lil more cash you could go for the new HP or the Sony VAIO...DELL XPS which comes to around 80k.
As for the net connection, depends on the services in your area. If you'd ask me, Airtel is like the best one can go for now. Its cheap and good.

see how 2 expert minds works the same...

:P:P
i too though about that Sony vio but the Red technology is still not much popular in india
so, i though i would buy the sony vio when its much popular and people experienced & BTW actually i asked the price for Vio in U.K it costs around 60k only <postage>
so, i thought i would prefer to buy it from U.K as i'll visit there next year.
And till then this lenovo laptop will also be old enough so there would be a clear chance of change...!!!!

That sounds ideal. The reason I asked you to go for VAIO is that it comes with the blue ray reader and writer on most of its versions and it is obviois that blue ray is the future. It's a lil bit costly now but will come down no matter what.
I really wonder whats gonna happen to hard drive company's once the blue ray is out. The initial stages start at 50..over the course of years Sony will even go to the extent of making a 1TB Disc. That'd be like amazing.
