hello, i was facing difficulty logging on to the forums with my ID(the same with which i am posting right now) today afternoon. Tried logging on to sify.com to check if everything was ok.

Unable to do so, i sent few mails to [email protected].

finally in the evening i tried thr "forgot password" option on sify.com and changed the pass using the secret question n word.

Now, since i am able to post again using my ID, i assume i have control of it.

I never shared my ID/password, never disclosed my profile info, never played or logged in from cafes. How can such an ID be hacked?????
or what it some other tachnical glitch that password was altered, although i didn't change it

and i advise players not to post on forums with their main IDs with which u play ur chars.

Obviously they were trying to hack my In-game char(if this was a hacking attempt) thinking i post with the same ID.

Rite.. never post with ur original Ids in the forum.. You dont know who is luriking here to hack u down...

There is no such vulnerability that we know of now. There was a security issue with the forum and that was patched when we shut down the forum.
