How exactly is damage calculated???

Hello GM(whoever reads this first)

i am g9 non-ele mage having

attck power 1100+

and i believe sb has attack power of 800 (as mentioned)

so, when i sb the damage shud be 1100+800 = 1900- def of opponent
(this is what many players believe how damage is calculated)

i recentl checked this out and a blood warrior around lvl 50 with def of 50
i got a value of just 1200 on him (it was impossible that he cud have def of even 200). How is this possible?

And 1 more thing the attack power of stigma as mentioned on korean site and ur new on-site guide is 1000 , we get just 500 in-game. is this server doped?

http://a3guide.50webs.com/guide/skills/ ... skills.htm
(this is ur own page mentioning sb3 to be 402(in-game mentions sb3 to be 800) and stigma3 to be 1000(in-game mentions to be 500))

http://www1.projecta3.com/Guide/Skill/d ... 1=2&sub2=4
(this is korean page mentioning damage of stigma3 to be 1000 and sb3 to be 800)

Now, clarify which is the correct value. whether the in-game value shown in skills window or ur new guide or the actual actoz site in korean.

If these values are different, why is already weaker mage made even more weak??

if there are other factors that decide the damage given other than attack power+skill attack and oponent defense . what are they and how do they influence?.

Dear Premsundar,

These are some questions which are better left for players to research and discover. It's not that, that I dont know the answers of these questions, but if I give you the answer, then what will be the fun for you. So it's better that you alongwith your friends research and find out by playing more & more.

hi prem,
as far as i know the damage calculation is based on the weapon efficiency, ur strength or magic power, grade of weapon, basic attack damage and skill attack damage on ur gloves, opponents defense, skill u r using , ice fire and lightning damage.

i got a way for calculating damage from wardeaths website too.

damage={(continious effectxweapon efficiency)x(physical damagexice fire and lightining damage)}+ basic attack damage gloves.

as far as continous effect is concerned it does not work with mages, warriros and hks do get continous effect,.

pysical damage is calculated as ur (physical strength- defense of monster)

and as far as weapon efficiency is concerned it depends on the grade of weapon u r using and the lvl of monster

cant say about pvp . all the above written by me is based on monsters and not on charcters and bossess.

bye hav fun.

Regards
Wartool

i am taking about pvp.

SB is supposed to have a huge multiplied effect as far as PvE is concerned

and check out those sites , how different the damages stated in each case.
waiting for answer from GMs.

don't tell me that a lvl 9 g9 weapon is low on efficiency.

yes i agree with prem..the gms shud look into this as dmg of stigma shud be increased...and also i think wartool ur dmg calculation is fr monsters and not fr players...
