Steve Irwin, known from crocodile hunter died monday :S
got stung by some sea creature.. resque helicopter came too late...
freak accident...anywhere other than the heart and he would have probably lived...it was a stingray by the way...

Yeah the sting ray got him right through the heart. But the guy did try some really crazy stuff.

yes really sad
i too didnt know that stingrays could be that dangerous. since he died the animal planet have dedicated their entire airtime for him.

It punctured his heart , so most brbly he died quickly once it struck him.
ive seen lots of his shows on discovery, was a brave guy.

Yes very sad news i feel for his wife and children
It appears the stingray felt trapped as the camera man was in front of it and steve was above
So it went into a defence mode and lashed out with its tail
It punctured his Aotra so death was instant.
Such a shame he was such a nice happy go lucky guy

Real sad I saw him launching his first documentary on T.V when I was 6(1992)..and since then I went crazy about him.He was by far the greatest daredevil.All i know about animals was thanks to him.Few people donate all the have to wildlife.(btw that was a slim & quick death!
)
