Ok GMs, I guess I should have put this in general, but I'm checkin forums after a long time and all I see here is 'xyz got hacked help help'
So I'm putting it here where everyone will definitely see it.


This is for all those who have shared accounts with 'trusted' people or 'friends'. First of all, you're not supposed to share characters. Period. Secondly, if you do so and then your char gets 'hacked' ie someone changed the password or stole items-how is it the GMs fault?
How do you expect them to trace who did what-when they can't even be sure of how many people are playing your char?

This is @Hellarch- I saw that comment on him being hacked-after having a fully loaded G9 G8 and 3 unique rings!! Are you freakin CRAZY? How can any of you afford to even risk losing your characters like that? You level a character to 11x or 12x or 13x and you're willing to risk losing everything by being so stupid as to share your account?
And then sit and cry here or abuse GMs.

Now the game has gone paid. Not only do you risk losing high value items but also real cash that you've paid for membership fees. So everyone-play your own chars and stop sharing them. The consequences are like using HIV infected needles...it pays to heed the warning.

err.. rex u shud have seen wat GM said in a post recently
he said that they r not telling us that we shudnt share acounts he is just sayin that if at all accounts r hacked due to shaing they r not responsible

so u see we can share accounts as long as its wid a person we trust
of course u and i can argue over the point that how can we trust a person we've nvr met

so wat i say is that as long as u hav personally met a person or atleast u hav seen his image thru a webcam u can share ur account

but finally its upto the person himself whether he wants to share hs acc or not

and ya rex 1 other thing u were right abt that if sm1's acc got hacked due to this reason DONT COME HERE AND SPAM THE FORUMS!!

About why they still risk it ... its the only way they are so high. These characters power levelled by more than 2 to 3 players regularly. Some of them hve usage times of 20 hrs a day. So they dont actually feel like 12X, they would rather feel like lvl 80 or something. Though this doesnt apply to all, this is what ia have seen in many cases.

Madhks, you will get your account back with the relevant information provided. Meanwhile let me tell you and all the others who have lost their accounts, this is not a reason or an excuse to resort to Abusing, Spamming, Etc in the Forums or in-game. Conditions apply to your buddies too who want to share your pain and end up causing more.

Great post Rex, sharing accounts is very contentious but I think it will happen more now the game has gone P2P

People have used account sharing in the past to power level up as Gm stated, you could say this is a form of cheating, but every one has the option to do this and it does not violate any rules of conduct so each to their own.

Regarding hacking I don’t think many people get hacked, it’s as Rex stated friends fall out then they change the password and Voila … they cry to GM to help.

Cannelloni is a typical example. I do not know this person but my friend was using his account in a share mode, this was many weeks ago, now I read on forums that Cannelloni say he is hacked ?? I don’t think he was hacked, he shared his account and some person wanted to keep it,,,,,, that’s exactly what Rex stated can and will happen… poor GMS then have to sort it out.

Now the game going paid in my opinion, more account sharing will be prevalent and more of this so-called hacking will occur.

I do sympathise with people who do get hacked by keyloggers but you guys who share accounts tread on a fine line, beware !!!!!!!!!

The best thing I feel is-GMs should make it clear that you share accounts at your own risk, and they cannot do anything about such accounts getting hacked.
A chain is as strong as its weakest link...if even one out of the total ppl playing a character gets greedy-it causes bad blood and enmity between everyone.

just replace account with ne other gud thing in life such as "girlfriend" or "car" or nething else u r possessive abt. im sure most of u wont giv it to yer frnds then y the hell shud u guys do tht with yer account?dont even trust cafe mates cuz the day yer char acquires some importance in the game it can really lead to bad blood..

YUP rite REX DUDE !!!! Ppl are dumb to share their accounts n reap thr profit of geting it hacked ! Welll thr are still lots who dont mind sharing their characters !! They say words like TRUST wateva !! When thrz power in hand TRUST can stil be lost n a charcter 11x 12x 13x is lot of power !!! I ve seen people who try being nice n tan finally get into the act of getting personal information !!! Best thin is get a screen shot !! In recent 15 r 20 days accounts got hackd coz either they sold it r shared !! N still ppl come n read abt problems of hacking and still dont mind sharing !!!
