Few good men
K.. I want to tell you something Danny and
listen up 'cause I mean this: You're the
luckiest man in the world. There is,
believe me gentlemen, nothing sexier on
earth than a woman you have to salute in
the morning. Promote 'em all I say.
.
By Russell Ritchey
Drifting in this barren sea, nothingness is all I see.
And when I reach for something real,
It sinks away until I feel,
Demonic creatures down below,
That rip and tear into my soul.
I've fallen prey to what I am,
A hollow shell, an empty man.
I tossed aside my moral ration,
And clung instead to lust and passion.
I tread this waste with weary legs,
Forced to drink the bitter dregs,
Of bitter memories, bitter past,
As waves of time fall down and crash.
My dreams are wreaked, hopes dashed and ruined,
By jagged rocks of my own doing,
Without a child to bear my name,
Without a wife to love the same,
Without a future we could share,
Because, instead, I chose affairs,
My life is ebbing, sinking lower, nothing matters anymore
