I have a text problem.....I guess

After the title comes up I can't see the text in the type area. I have been lucky to type my password and id but after that I don't know what is going on. I go into character creation and try to select a character. Then a type box comes up, I can't see any text so I don't know what exactly it is asking me, I could guess that the two buttons below are OK and CANCEL. What I'm trying to explain is that the graphical text like NEW CHARACTER is visible but not the regular type. Any suggestions?

its asking you to type the name for the char u r creating

Try
1.switching off your firewall
2.updating your graphics drivers, intel nvida gtx etc. from their respective sites.
