Works best on Win XP:

REQ:
1.make sure you have atleast 2 user profiles.
2.install a3 in 2 diff loactions or drives and have shorcuts placed on desktop : 1 only for each profile.
3. make sure u have 2 login ids for A3.

go to profile1 open notepad, then log in with 1st id,with 1st intallation of a3 with high lvl char..stay in town..now do alt+tab, then windows key+L,

login to 2nd profile, open notepad then login in with 2nd id, with 2nd istallation, with noob char, in town got o ur high lvl car ask support or party based on support lvl restriction, now alt+tab, then Windows key+L,

go to 1st profile, go into game , accept party or support request,, go to teleporter choose a map, teleport, go to a safe location "entrance is good"..now alt+TAb, then windows L,

choose profile 2 , go to game take ur noob char to same location and then do ctrl+left click on ur high lvl char when u see the sword cursor,,now alt+tab , then windows key +L..

go to profile 1, go to game ...start hunting ...now where ever u go the noob char will follow u in teh map..

reason to open notepad is to able to do alt+tab comfortably...

Preferences:
1.works good if u keep sound option OFF for both installations & if u have good RAM( 512 is good , 1GB as i have along with graphic card will give u best results) make sure that internet connection uninterrupted without any lag)
2.mages with pan can port their noob chars anywhere in the map and can keep the noob char safe.
3.HKs are the best as they can protect their noob chars with shields & as well heal them.

OR

ask someone to play your noob char...if cu can trust him.
which is kinda impossible..

Have you actually tried this?? The second time you try launching A3, it says 'a3 is already running'. I've tried this even with separate clients.

Yup ..i tried it already...
works well... but if there is lag..both your characters go for a Toss..

here is how i did it..with littlemore clarity ..the a3 installtion used in profile1 is installed in C drive..i enter the game with my mage..

then i switch profile after doing alt+tab, then windows key+L, i go to 2nd profile..the a3 installation i use here is installed in F drive..i login with noob char/..also the chars are not ffrom same login id but 2 diff login ids ,,otherwise u will get disconnected..

both the installations are of same version but are separate installtions..anyway i cannot have 2 diff versions cos as soon as i run the game it will update itself to curent ver

and both profiles are in admin mode..make sure they are not in restricted mode...
also to avoid confusion keep sound off for the game/

here is my system config :
win xp sp1, with intelpentium4 2.8 gigs, 1gb ram, nvidia gforce4x 128 mb card, with 128k lan conection.

*this is my fake id ..so that i dont get banned..anyway i met you(eos) in the game too.. trust me ..i wont lie to u atleast...

but as i have 2 comps i would not try this

but maybe if 1 gives me trouble

WELL CURRENTLY A3 CLIENT DOES NOT HAVE ANY ANTI-HACKING SOFTWARES LIKE RAGNA OR A3 SG.
THIS WILL BE INTRODUCED IN DUE TIME, WHEN THEY ARE INTRODUCED THE SOFTWARES RUNS A SCAN FOR SIMILARLY NAMED PROCESSES AND SHUTS THEM ALL DOWN, BUT THESE SCANS ARE RUN AT AN INTERVAL OF 5 - 15 MINUTES SO AS TO NOT EAT TOO MUCH INTO SYSTEM RESOURCES. SO ENJOY THIS TILL THEY IMPLEMENT THE SOFTWARES.
