The great revolting noobs (pun intended)

Well, well, quite an uprising we have here...
I'm amazed at the nerve you sudden new players have with the UJ issues.
Disclaimer:I personally disapprove of pking for any reason whatsoever in game-hence I do not condone pking as a means of price control as was being done.
Rest assured though, that it's not out of any sympathy for the majority crop of new players!
Lemme give u some background. I started this game on Sep 20th, 2005. After 6 months of hard lvling I'm finally wearing G8. (The delay mainly cos i can play only 2-4 hours each night). In the last 6 months I've seen a whole change in the character of players that came in. People of my 'generation' who started around then, and everyone, were pretty interested in the game, did quests partied together and thats how we leveled up. Throughout this time, till around december-jan, UJs sold for 1.5 million only.
The price rise coincided with the great sponsored leech events..where people just rushed into the game and leeched upto G7 in a couple of days without knowing squat about quests, or the game system or anything.
Let's see the common features of our current noob crop:
-Leech leech n leech some more.
-Utter lack of manners, simply going up and asking a party request or trade request begging for cash out of the blue.
-Absolute greed and impatience-the obsession to wear mounted items (as if you can't wait a couple of days to lvl up to the required lvl! )
-Absolute total ignorance about the game system-going on spamming general chat with pathetic questions-this when there's an excellent guide for noobs on the main page!!
Now, given this is how most of em behave, let's get down to the burning topic:
First of all, why are u guys so bloody greedy for cash? Everything below G6 sells for a maximum of 500k, that too if it has really great options or is mounted (we'll get to that too)
The game is balanced in the sense that your income(from drops or hunting) is proportional to your expenses (buying pots, or tping, or cost of equipment)
You don't need to hoard G7 items when you're in the 40s or 50s, you will get them on your own when u reach that level.
Then why this greed? Cos you all want to wear mounted stuff.
Mounted will obviously cost a bomb..so u need cash..so u inflate prices and whine when people don't pay up!
I have also found UJs as a noob. I have also sold several (till I was told its better to save em). And guess what? Every single time, it sold for 1.5 million
Do you think we high levels were born that way? Or that all of us leeched like you to hit 110 within a fortnight?
I've also struggled to lvl up in the 50s..BY DOING QUESTS.
I've also made money by selling the drops I got. I used to have about 600-700k max..and I was content with it.
I wore my G5 at 60, my G6 at 80 and was perfectly happy to be wearing those. I had a great time huntin creeps suited for my lvl as I lvled up.
And yes-I also partied in C1 and R3 WITH FRIENDS.
I DID NOT run after ppl begging for cash or to be leeched.
I DID NOT sit and spam general chat for mounted stuff. If I found something mounted I wore it.
I look back on my noob days, and then I look at the current crop of noob players, and it just makes me sick.
The issue over the guides coming in to help, wtf??
Where were u guides all this while when I used to get pked as a noob? I BARELY went to C1. I was about 30 when ppl started pking in C1, and guess what? Every time I saw a bunch of high lvls coming into the map, I'd just leave, head for carode and do the Heart of Grou and Thread of Truth quests!

So let it be a part of the game!!
If Darky is stepping on all of u insects in C1, why the hell do u go there repeatedly? Who the hell told u to stick around and wait to lose 20 or 40% or whatever? Ever heard of quests or other maps? Why dont u go do em?
In the end..u want to eat your cake and have it too. You want to sell UJs at exorbitant rates, like we are made of money or something, and all of us should just keep quiet and pay up.
As I said before, do u really need so much money at your level?? Even 1 million is A LOT of money for a noob. It's not exactly small change for us either, monsters dont drop spectacular amounts of cash, nor is the drop rate anything great that we can afford a lot.
Concluding words:
All high lvls-wait till hatrel is unlocked, so you can buy UJs direct and give these ppl the finger.
All low lvls-Get stuffed. Sell UJs at reasonable price or go keep em for urself. Or, as Timekeeper suggested, use em on your own stuff.
