Messy Text - Any suggestions please

Can you help me please? My problem is that the text that I type and messages I receive are all messed up.
When I log my account, the letters typed appear as 'ebonynynyn' (which isn't correct) then my password, and it then logs my account. While in game-play all text is the same , I see whispers as "whisperspersperpersperspersperspers" and "Questsestsestsestsestsestsestsestsests" ... my char name is Polandra but it appears on my screen as Polandan, and everything I type appears as the last few letters of the first word I type.
I have downloaded and reinstalled the game 3 times , updated drivers and dirextX, I am now grasping at straws and updating my adobe file and anything else I can think of. I contacted my PC Technician who assured me my pc more than meets the requirements needed to run the game.
Can you please suggest what else I can do as I would very much like to play the game and am now hoping you can help me with my problem.
