No Events in A3 India ???

Greetings!
As am new player to this game and just wanted to highlight that On Republic Day there were NO EVENTS ?
We were all online just to have some sort of fun on Republic day. What expectations can we set regarding A3 India ?
Its very hard to find any sort of Experience Event or others just we are receiving server updates from contribution points perspective.
