Hi guys...

I'm of course a noob which is why I'm posting in this section. I want to know whether crafting G8 set from a G7 set has any chance of failure.

On this topic, I'd also like to know what are enchanters. I mean, I know the formulae for crafting, so why should I need an enchanter.

Secondly, I want to know how many special quests are there apart from Egonhil and Hatrel and what's the use of Special Quest Scrolls.

crafting from a G7 to G8 does have chance of failure (as mentioned in the lst here)

Result : Grade 7 ->Grade 8

ITEM May be destroyed

An enchanter increases the possibility of a combination succeeding but that is only if you are trying to increase the LEVEL of a weapon or armour beyond lvl 5.
For help in crafting from G7 to G8, you should get hold of a maestro as this uses runes and a maestro passive skill increases success rate of combination related to runes.

The following Special Quests are available...

SQ 1-1, 1-2, 1-3 and 1-4 and
SQ 2-1 and 2-2.

2-2 scroll has not yet dropped in this server since no one has been able to complete 2-1

The Special Quest scrolls are needed to begin a Spdcial Quest. You are supposed to take the Quest to the map as indicated in the quest and submit where necessary. You can ask high-lblers for help in beginning and completing any Special Quersts as they are time bound and if you fail to do the task within the time, you will end up wasting the precious scroll you spent so much money buying! be especially careful when completing SQ 1-1 as that is the most important...take a mage with you and read up on the forums on help completing it.
