Erm, lil help for noodle(help deside on char)

ahoy guys,

erm okas:
im kinda very very new(just downloaded game) and i cant deside which char to make. After reading manual im thinking abt mage or holy knight and cant deside on my own so im asking for your help :)

Im kinda looking for PvP char (killer/tank would be best) especially pk;
Also i'd prefer char who would be needed in parties;

so... erm; help pretty please :D

ADVANCE CUSTOMIZATION
Warning: Below is a guide that breaks away from the Full Set Item Grade System that this game came originally. In that sense, some customization may lead to further enhancement of a character. But overall, read this only when you are familiar with the game system of Equipment Limitation. If you are unfamiliar with it, then read this again at a later part of your game play.

If you are reading this, I would like to share some advise before I begin.

Look long term ahead when playing this game.
Never change your mind and start training a
class when everyone around you says it’s the strongest.
Always pick what you like, be it visually and in terms of character
movement wise or attack methods which suits your playing style.
This is the way to give your character a further edge over the players.

Now lets begin.....

Area spell lvl requirements are included so u can further decide on the path u wish to take
4 Classes are divided into:




Archers
Mages
Holy Knight
Warrior

Note - Each class has a few variations explained in clear details below:

HOLY KNIGHT (HK)
STR (Mace weapon type) and DEX (Sword weapon type)


Mace type HK adds more STR and thus have higher attack power but lack of Dex makes their defense rather weak. DEX HK is just the reverse, adding more dex for defense and less STR thus result in weaker damage when compared to STR HK.

When it comes to war, HKs can handle quite an intensive load of damage by enemies due to it’s high defensive spells, its heal spell also provides additional hp and also its 'trapping' spell also locks enemy and prevent them from fleeing. But generally, due to the low damage they inflict, holy knights play a more supportive class in war.

MAGE
ELEMENTAL AND NON-ELEMENTAL



One of the easiest class to train, given the ability to master area spells at low lvls, they can level up very fast during the low level period. Mages are also divided into 2 category and a few other sub categories. For mages first 2 basic category are: (INT) Elemental and (DEX) Non-Elemental.

As usual, INT mages adds in more INT thus have higher attacking magic power but lack of Dex makes their defence rather weak. Dex mages are just the reverse, adding more dex for defense and less int, thus resulting in weaker damage when compared to INT mages.

Mages have very weak defense when compared to 3 other classes .
Thus, many players devised ways to help cover this loophole and these sub-breed of mages were created as it will be an advantage to mages as 1 stats point to vitality = 4 hp. Generally the main ones are:

Syncro Mage (SM) - Making full use of the opt characteristics of each mage type (INT/DEX) Example: DEX boots High Critical Hit %. INT Pants higher Evasion %. Syncro mages basically spread their stats accordingly and try wear the best out of each type of gears. Mix gears some may call it.
Note: Weapon/Gear opts are more to in-depth information, they can be found on the Equipment Option Page.

Syncro Blood Mage (SBM) - Same characteristic of gear choices as SM. But after desired grade which is usually G7 for most players, remaining stats are pumped into HP.

Syncro Absolute Blood Mage (SAB) - Gears of both characteristics are all mounted with 30% option. Giving more stats for HP.

Blood Mage (BM) - Normal Gears, May be G6, G7, G8, G9. Once u reach desired grade, you pump remaining stats into Vitality (HP)

Absolute Blood Mage (ABM) - 30% mounted Gears. Usually in G6, G7, G8, (G9/10 is possible, but rare) When reached desired grade with 30% mount, all stats after 30% requirements are pump into Vitality. Meaning additional 30% more of HP then normal Blood mages.

*Note: Players will tend to use short terms on the above types in-game.

Remaining types are just Full Grade Mages (FGM) - Meaning they go for maximum grade that is available in order to obtain maximum Attack and Defense power though their gears.

2 major weakness of mages:
After Cast Reaction.(ACR)
compared to other classes like archers, mages casting a spell takes quite a bit of time before it can perform the next action thus it’s ACR is kinda slow.
Directional Movement Reaction (DMR)
which is also slow as well. During an experiment with newbie archers and mages, a hit from a cynick is a direct K:O (Knock out, bye bye, free trip to town, u get wad I mean) for archers using a certain technique, walking into a cynick will still allow it to move out thus archers DMR is much faster then mages confirm plus chop.

In War mages play a leading role instead. No doubt their main area spell strip blast gives a very high damage at lvl 108, however it’s quite useless in arena’s which have Friendly Fire mode ON. Thus mages must learn to utilize their spells well and be able to use spells like Sedam and Pan to control the party or knighthood’s reinforcements, clearance from danger, regrouping and so on, so judgment, precision must be good if you want to be an outstanding mage. Consider the mentioned factors before picking this class even though it is easiest to train. Mages are quite dependant on other classes not to say the least although they are quite popular and wanted in many parties.

WARRIOR
SPEAR, SWORD AND AXE


Warriors do not have high defensive spells like holy knights. However, they focus more on brutal force, thus their spells are more for increasing their attack power but it usually comes with a set back of HP reduction. Warriors are divided to 3 category - Spear, Sword and Axe. Each category adds different type of stats between str and dex.

Spear - most well balanced in terms of defense and attacking power. So nothing unique
Sword - stresses on defense and thus reducing it’s attacking power.
Axe - stresses more on Attacking and in the process sacrifices defense.

Different type of weapons enables you to perform different types of spells. Most warriors are recommended to have a sword with them which gives the ability to cast a spell called Freeze during lvl 80-81. This can be helpful for training in high lvl maps. You can switch between 2 weapons by having it in the F4 slot in your inventory. The F4 button triggers the switch between the sword and weapon/gear you are currently holding.

In war however, warriors usually engage in first hand melee combat. Depending on your play style, all I can say is warriors are a class that is hard to train for low lvls since it’s first area spell that is useful has a lvl requirement of 80-81. But they can deal one hell of an attack on anyone out there.

ARCHER
BOW AND CROSSBOW



Archers have very fast ACR and DMR so it’s a very independent class.
Spells of archers are only obtainable at higher lvl maps, so it’s very hard to obtain them.
The weakness of an archer would be the low mana (magic potion). Training cannot last very long as you need to constantly waste money on repotting your mana and teleporting. Compared to other classes, you cannot solo a boss without having to repot multiple times unless you are using rare rings that save your mana consumption. So without rare rings, archers can’t do much.

(DEX) Bow and Crossbow (STR) archers
Normal arrow shooting speed may differ as bow archers are faster than crossbow archers.
For Spell casting, both classes possess the same speed.
The Bow causes a consistent damage.
The CrossBow causes more damage, but may be inconsistent at times.
The ACR of Crossbow archer is faster then Bow archer after experiments were carried out.

There are also Syncro archers and blood archers as well as absolute blood archers just like mage, however most players only start such breeds at grade 7 or after grade 7.

Archers in war play an offensive role.
In country war they can form a line of defense to trap enemy within its range of fire.

Above basically rounds up the weakness and pros of each class as a general guide which you might now have an impression of how they will be like when you progress through out this game.

awesome guide.

i can just say ..

make mage ... if u wanna make alot of wz
mage hk if u wanna do alot of wars
make archer if u wanna do alot of killings

make warrior .. only if u really like warrior ( they say warrior is worse char but .. let me tell u 1 thing .. the 1st person to make g9 uni and 1st person to get aura .. is warrior only)
