Do other MMORPGs have pk?

I haven't played any other MMORPG, so can those who have tell me this, whether it's possible to pk anyone anywhere as can be done here?
Some ppl were claiming it's a 'unique' 'feature' (yeah, right..grr
) of A3.
Is it that in other games you can only attack in designated arenas?
