When an HK gives u shield the actual value of ur defence is increased, not so in case of mirage [Your evasion & Magic Evasion, which are properties of your kit, are increased]. It means that with shield the damage that u get from the opponent is decreased but not with mirage. To clarify further, with shield your opponent will definately get lesser attack on you but with mirage there is a chance of missing, not lesser dmg. If mirage works, then u get 0 damage, which makes it a property and not an attribute. Since we are talking abt Warrior weapons here, lets put magic evasion aside for the time being. Mirage is nothing but evasion [forget magic evasion] and there is a separate property to counter that [Ignores opponents evasion] which is carried only by the Unique Axe and not Spear. [The Uni Xbows also have it but it aint a warrior weapon]

Even if u want to think of mirage as an attribute and as u say mirage is a defensive attribute, i would like to say that defensive attribute is different from attribute defence! for example, with an hk, the evasion in his pants would be an defensive attribute but the def he gets from Breath Of Redyan is the attribute defence And if u check a screenshot of the G9 Uni Spear, it clearly states Ignores all enemy Attribute 'Defences'.

So as far as i can see, i dunno how the Uni Spear can ignore mirage. Stoneskin definately, but mirage...just my 2 cents
