i got a Bsnl 256k connection.. rarely lags.. also u can try different sets of DNS server addresses..
1.
primary Dns-218.248.240.23
secondary Dns-218.248.240.135

2.
primary Dns-61.1.96.69
secondary Dns-61.1.96.71

these are 2 sets of Dns addresses which work well for a Bsnl connection.
ping each of the primary dns and take note of the latency.. use the set which
has the lower latency..

hope this helps.

Dude, you posting your DNS's here wont make a diff....!!

Each locality is given a differernt domain. I hope you know that.

Yes. You must have tried your local DNS. I meant of your own area but different session. That helps sometimes but no for people from other places.

hmmm just bug the isp guys, by raising customer care cases, make sure
u raise case and call 2wice a day. u will get results :) and make sure to
read my prev post on what to say to them . And show them ur ping
results. Instead of www.a3india.com , u can also try popular sites like
google or yahoo. If there is any drop in those, u can bug them a lot :).
If there is no packet drop and still u got lag, even ISP guys wont do
enthing

thanks,

Guys..This lag issue will continue on for ever..

I have somethin in mind...I"ll message the GM's...it might most probably lower the lag issues by a great deal..!!
