I'd say you should have maxed Fatality and Hustler...both of them will give you serious increase in critical hit damage, and especially if you're a dex build character (sword hk/warrior, non ele mage or bow archer) that's a useful thing to have.

Opsy nope.
Am a mace HK and my merc is an archer. I kinda took the offence mastery of my merc to lvl 5. Not sure if I can raise it further.
She is 29 or 30 now and hitting like 300+ to Polks with every shot.
I have also noticed that if I keep her on "Attack nearest target", I don't get any XP at all most of the times coz she manages to hit nearabout every monster before me. I was under the impression that as long as I manage to hit atleast once, I would get atleast some XP if not full
Btw, and am still 24

Btw the maximum lvl ne merc skill can reach is 10... I suggest u to stop taking Offence mastery... Max out Fatality and precision.. After that u can learn the other skills...

Crap.. There goes 500k. Didn't know about the max spells being 10.
