I don't know if GMs can give answers on behalf of sify, but I really am curious what the marketing strategy is and how that would benefit the game and the players.

As expected, GMstorm replied:

Hmm ... I wonder why!!

When the game was made P2P, we had been given lot of reason as to why it was being done.

Why this change in policy into 'cannot provide info'?

All that Delphi is asking is to either extend the 6 month pins or a reason why it was removed. I am sure Delphi (and others including me) are rational enough to understand

Thanks

"COMING SOON"

I think Oxford should change the definition of SOON after seeing A3

Well, if ppl were taking advantage of 6 month pins and sold them for wz, the same thing can happen with the 2 month pins, right?

In any case Sify was getting its money from the "Gamedrome" (Which i suspect is a net cafe), what the players were doing with the PINs they shouldn't really care. Cos the cafe paid the Sify requested price and the player paid in wz.

I don't see the problem in that.

Anyway, if that was happening and they didn't like it, why did they remove the pin from the website? Website prices are standard, for me and for some other players playing from outside India it is the only way to buy a PIN. So what's the reason for doing this?

IMHO the only obvious answer is that they decided to make the game a bit more expensive since it seems to be successful. I can't find any other explanation.

Fortunately I have bought 2 6month pins just before they removed it from the site, and i suspect that my purchase was the reason they noticed that they had forgotten to remove it.
