WELL WATCHING OTHERS LOSE SOMETHING, ADDS TO THE FUN.
TRY TO UNDERSTAND, THEY ARE TRYING TO MAKE IT LOOK AS REAL AS POSSIBLE.
That is what Guidemax told me too.
Let me tell you something about realism. I have been a RPer not just in this game, but in many others and have GMed many of them. Realism is a quirky concept.
Those who PK, say that it is all for fun, but go ask those who are PKed - the ones who come to the game to socialize with their friends and have some time together. PKing can be real irritating.
And coming back to realism. Do you see people going about killing each other out here in 'real' life as you see in A3. Please come to terms, when you talk about realism, talk about balanced realism. I hope, what I am speaking here makes some sense to the GMs. The whole gameplay of any RPG stands on the edge of the blade called realism, but it the blade is not balanced then as with a real longblade that is not balanced, it can hurt all those that are not intended.
Am I asking for all to stop PKing? Hell no. As some one said, it adds realism and puts more depth to the game. But for heavens sake (or shoudl I say, Hellmarsh's sake?), do make the results too as real as the PK is made. Have the PKer be hunted by some sort of policing force or something like that? Put some god of order or law getting mad at them when they kill too much or something like that. What you do with it, is not for my grey-cells to work, because I am not the GM. I would advice something if I were the GM, which I am not. (I think I already told that to Guidemax. He had asked me what I would do in his place. Why should I think of that? I am the player, and I am not the 'Guide').
And one more thing that I ask is, a response. Now, I would like if some GM, atleast PMed me in response to this, and that would atleast let me know that the words have fallen on the GMs ears. What they would do with it, I leave it to them.
Peace.
