The reality about gifts from NPC other than quest reward

Definitely good relations with npc but as stated earlier why u still in mix armour didn't get g10 set???

Nyways congrats and hope to see your screenies on forums in full g10 with 100lvl ss and hopefully your lvl too

Have you guys heard of Merchant?A G 8 HK wid SS.He has insane relatonship wid Bentren.He gets all sort of gifts from Bentren.Most simple are Ruby,topaz,Sapphire.He even gets uj,Sj's,Dj and so on.He lvld up his Tuath to lvl 8 wid a Sj given by NPC as gift.When i asked him since what level he's doin Bentren quest he replied that he has done it since he was lvl 80.He's 125+ now,so you can imagine the spam he must have done.

waja was 1 of the first that i know off who confirmed getting gifts from NPC in a3india. this post was just to remove any confusion about getting gifts from NPCs due to favour. and show the deeper knowhow of the game that our beloved Guides have. what rating u wanna give them now.

the known gifts give by NPC until now are rubies, sapphires, topazes, ujs, djs, eutuxias, Saving scrolls and sjs. not sure what other surprises exist.

Prem, since ur the one i know who has actually got the gifts frm npc, help me out here...

1. wts ur current relation wid yarmo [ i m guessin 30%, if yes.. then plz tell since hw long its 30% ]
2. i currently hav a 20% relation.. tht too since lvl 11x... and am currently 129..
all throughout i have spammed yarmo's quests.. did his Qs instead of artery q even... any idea when shud i expect 30% relation... and the gifts..
3. btw.. i too npc ALL drops to yarmo, and NEVER quit his quest since lvl 62...
4. oh yea.. prem do u hav maestro? maybe tht affects our relation??

plz shed some light on the topic.. anxiosly waiting fr 30% relation..

i wud like prem's views on it.. but any other person with "useful & credible" info is also requested to post replies..

One more Doubt by the way ,and if this has aldready been posted please forgive me

Will quitting the quest at the npc affect the relationship in anyway ,For example if i take the Special shield Quest of r3 ,finish the first part(horn of lirox),and decline to continue the quest further at the npc will it affect my relation?

as i noticed, the NPC gives a gift when u complete the quest fast, gifts start coming at even 20% relation. i never got a gift when i took longer than usual to complete a quest.

am not entirely sure about the number of quests needed to attain 10% , 20% and 30% relatioship. yes, quitting a quest half way(even not completing remaining parts of a chain quest also has negative impact on ur NPC favour, a know a guy who has -10% NPC relation with dellua, cause he ever did the 2nd part of niff quest)
