Are they doing a charity service?

Where will the money for server rental, bandwidth usage, salary of people who manages the server, application and support come from??

They need money to pay for that and be mature enough that MONEY was and will be involved all the time the game was/will be played.

Advertisements cannot alone pull up the revenue for profit

Most of the MMORPGs are paid.

They cant do a pay to play from the first day itself coz no one likes to experiment with money
People need to know the game and then decide whether to play it or not and that is exactly what A3India did.

If you dont want to pay and play then DONT play. No one is forcing you to play.

And yes Dred is right that there are many other ways to earn money by making rare stuffs available for real money. Although personally I will not prefer UJs for real money, but yes I can prefer buying sets with real good options/rare items/unique weapons etc for real money. (when they are implemented)

There are many MMORPGs which have one more way of earning money....buying a high level char directly from the publisher...like a lvl 90 char for certain amount. It's something which Sify may think of implementing...coz any way we already had 2 official leeching event with the 3rd leeching event on its way.

In game advertising looks good in MMORPGs with the cultural theme of present or future era. If any of you have played Matrix Online, you may have noticed that it's full of advertising...like roads, street light or buildings having banners of mainly computer related stuff or automobiles. It goes with the theme.

But with the theme A3 has, I dont think that ingame advertising will look good. I can not think of any product which can be related with the A3 theme.

only in game advertising which comes to my mind.....instead of HP you buy "Boost" from NPCs and everytime you press 1, a message is displayed for everyone to see..... "Boost is the secret of my energy"
